state of things at the moment, what would you do if you called the shots and had the choice of the 2 managers?

Just want to see people opinions cos a few blades say they would take warncok back and others say give robson a chance.

I have chosen Warnock, not because Robson is doing a poor job, but because I believe Warnock to be a better manager.

well look at palace, undefeated in bout 10 - 11 games isnt it? 3 points behind us, GULP!

Unbeaten in 7, with 4 of them being draws.

But lets not forget we have just had a run of 9 games with 1 loss, 5 wins and 3 draws.

Still, The games previous and game after that show a totally different picture.

in all them have we come from goals down and won?

robbo! great passion, comitment, gets the players motivated, makes good tactical decions...

warnock.

Warnock for me. I didn't want Robson to start with, and there is almost nothing he has done to persuade me otherwise. Beattie signing is about the only bright spot.
Let's be honest, I'd have settled for Julian Clary. But not in the way that Keenzy would.:bummer:

warnock for me, with him you never knew when we were finished in a match if we were down, you could almost always see us getting something from somewhere

i think the players had more respect for him aswell, they seemed to try harder. I mean, would you wanna be on the end of a Warnock bollocking? I know i wouldn't!! But Robbo? 'Why aye lads we played like a set o tossers.....lets go get 'ammered'*

*or words to that effect :D

Its a sad to have only these two to chooses from, so for me its neither.

Under Warnock there were matches when we completely battered teams and only won one-nil. With Robson in charge it seems that even a ten-nil lead would be a slender one, and the opponents could easily score eleven.
The current situation has at least shut up the idiots who claimed the promotion was solely due to Kidd's coaching and nothing to do with Warnock. Kidd is still coaching us, and we look poor.

Kidd is a waste of space.... what is he even doing anyway? thought he was meant to be good with the youngsters bringing all the urinals through like the nevilles etc our youngsters? probably the best one billy sharp top goal scorer in league 1 cant even get a game... set peice plays--- awful! General coaching and footballing standard--- poor! Plus hes a recluse and wont come out and do interviews to tell us whats going on in the camp ... personally i dont know how he continues to get a wage! He can go to Everton and take Robson with him..
I am not happy, not happy

i've been told by a mate at work that when united are crap Robson goes in and says "you were f'in crap" and walks out, then leaves Kidd to do the talk and to try and motivate them.

(my mates nephew hangs around with Billy Sharp from time to time)

It's irrelevant how you win a game.

not really, its about passion and commitment and believe. if a manger cant put that into a team at half time then you have no chance of doing anything!

I have to admit after siting behind robson at the match I went to I would have liked to see a little more fire.

The complete lack of emotion doesn't do it for me. If you aren't passionate how can you instill passion.

I'd like to have seen a lot more fire after tuesday night. A large pile of burning tyres with Robson sat on top would have done. Mind you, there's probably so much booze in him that one quick piss would have put the lot out.

To be fair how often do you see Fergusson, Wenger or Avram Grant running around the touchline like Warnock did ... We were used to his style but Robson is totally different can we not just accept that and look at how he does it in the changing room ... Admittedly I, along with most other Blades would like more passion and fight on the pitch but Robsons attitude on the sideline and his attack at the officials has absolutely no affect on how the players perform ... Its what he does behind closed doors that matters and unfortuantely we will never know exactly what he does

Well whatever it is it doesn't seem to be working. At least not in any consistent fashion.

If he can't show no fight in the heat of the moment, I can't see there being much behind closed doors either

But my point is different managers have different styles ... I know we would all love a bit more passion but that was 1 game ... It happens ... All sides have tough games - Make ridiculous mistakes -And just dont perform ... We did all that on Tuesday but our fight up til then had been spot on ... Lets hope it is just one game and pick up 3 points away at Norwich

The point is though, it hasn't just been one game, I could pick out a number of games this season.
