You are on the mark there Pup with 'back where we were 11 years ago' observation. I've just about finished reading 'Fit & Proper' by Matt Bell & Gary Armstrong, charting the boardroom happenings over the past 30 years and this is 1999 all over again!
Mind you, being reminded just what went on (in detail) in the ten years prior to '99 makes me feel a bit better about the state of play today (small comfort i know!)
I'm hopeful (as ever in the case of SUFC) that MA & AC can stabilise this season at least. From then on is all too dependant on investment.

LSF, you may not be aware of this, but when pup says we're back where we were 11 years ago, what he really means is that it was the time when his moaning peaked. He made len look like a beacon of positivity, he'll be looking forward to dark days. It's possible Bert may be coaxed out of retirement to spar with him ;-)

Having followed Pup from very early internet messageboard days, I realise there are several ways of taking his posts. Yes, he can moan with the best can Pup but i think this post was kind of tinged with some relief that at least we can expect some solid backing for the new team in charge ...until at least Jan 10th 2011

This appointment , along with Alan Cork, has seen me drift off onto Youtube and some great footage of the 90s.....I'm very hopeful now that we will get some bite back into the Blades to see us out of trouble. What we do after that remains to be seen, but I wouldn't mind seeing a return to passionate and winning performances!!

I think he will get us out of the relegation zone, but I was always quite confident of not going down with our side, I was excited about Birch bringing us into the 21st Century and that's where I have huge doubts about Adams. We shall see.

With the joke decision penalties given in the last two game it seems no harm no foul for us.

Do you honestly think he's going to get backing? How many times to they have to renege on promises not to rely on loans before we stop believing them? He's going to get sweet FA. And who do we have left that's actually ours to sell to raise funds? Even if we do, it'll be sell one, pick up a couple of freebies. So much for the 'all change!'

We can start the countdown to hearing 'substantial' and 'significant' right now. My money's on Monday.
