Shoreham Street - Til Death Us Do Part
Another fine example of it again tonight. A total transformation from a team who had zilch confidence at the beginning on the season to one who now fear nobody and who most importantly are confident when under threat.
Defensively not only at the back but with a contribution from midfield we are as steady as we have been in a few years, when teams build a bit of momentum we absorb it all and deal with it leading to frustration and hoof ball football being played against us.
In my opinion a huge amount of credit is due for how in the last x amount of games both at home and on the road as well as against top flight teams, championship teams and league one teams we have managed to get a foot hold on the game and dictate how we want it to be played which ultimately in return has allowed us to play to our strengths. We are well drilled enough to acknowledge that the opposition will have a spell and we deal with it all before looking to play our own style of football, whether it be utilising our wide men or catching them on a quick counter attack after receiving hoof.
Tactically spot on and exciting now looking at what is to come, we can now slowly and surely look forward to enjoying the end of this season.
