A controversial idea, I know, but wouldn't it have been a plan for those involved in the process to actually ensure you could buy your ST online for the day they are due to go on sale? :)

If you go to "season ticket renewals", you get stuck in an endless loop of it asking you to "update your details".

If you go to "season tickets", you get this slightly optimistic message:

Do you want my money SUFC? :D I am trying my hardest to give it to you!

I had a similar thing last year, it kicked me out every time I tried to renew, then when I eventually renewed the club never took the money from my credit card.

It was only when all my family and my mates were talking about the free Shirt voucher that I called the club, only to find out that my season ticket hadn't been renewed.

Fortunately my seat hadn't been sold.

The moral is - even if it looks like its gone through, check your statements to make sure it has!

I can now pick a brand new ST somewhere... however, I can't renew the season ticket I already have.

There is also a booking fee appearing for this brand new season ticket that I don't want of £2.50 which contradicts this from the brochure they emailed on Friday:

Teething troubles.

They're probably running in "test" mode at present just awaiting Blackies removal before the avalanche of applications after that.

I appear to now be able to renew both mine and Linz's for a mere £2.50 booking fee. Two free season tickets, how kind :)

It would be nice for us who are going to renew regardless to be able to get sorted before all the glory-hunters jump on the bandwagon though ;)

Still no movement on the being able to renew front.

Sort it out SUFC! As I've said on Twitter, I want to be in the draw for this competition for the day at the training ground.

I will demand to be fed peeled grapes by the players and be given a donkey ride round the facilities by whoever looks strong enough to take my weight.

EDIT:

I wonder if this is causing the problem.

United "reserve" the season ticket for you, assuming that you will renew it.

However, the online system seems to think that this reservation means the ST has already been bought. Meaning as far as it is concerned, there isn't a ST to renew.

Stupid shitty system. Why can other clubs manage to sell tickets online with no problems?

For those looking to buy new STs (i.e. not renewals), get online now.

By the looks of it, you can buy a brand new season ticket at the renewal price (plus booking fee).

However, over 2 hours on... still no ability to renew.

Good advice BUT who will be these NEWBIES attracted by our scintillating season and charismatic leading man?

and i'm currently homeless & computerless with my office being used for something else... ideal time to renew (if I hadn't been trying unsuccessfully since before 9am).

I'd have thought if you were homeless, £400 could've been better spent elsewhere

I can finally renew online, providing I renew linzs too, with her being added as a "Friends and family" on my account.... that and if I pay £2.50 booking fee.

Interesting... apparently I can't renew my own :)

* You have no season ticket renewals to add to your shopping basket

Can you delete me from your "friends and family" thing?

I'm sure you've already thought of it but......telephone? Is it not working either?

You have to pay the booking fee over the phone.

Not paying extra for the privilege of giving them my cash... online is supposed to be free.

I tried, but couldn't get through and its far easier to try and do it online whilst I'm at work all day.

:D:p:D

made my day ......... glory hunters at BDTBL

i got a text message about renewing my season ticket during the second half at palace. First problem is I haven't had a season ticket for two years. Second problem is at that precise moment I felt like rolling the ticket i did have into a tiny tiny tube, sharpening the point of it, and sticking it through both my pupils into the optic nerves to lessen the pain of what I was watching.

Bloody hell. First Ashley and Cheryl, now you two........:(

Please don't compare me with Ashley :D

My mobile is firmly on my desk, rather than on my person, as it were :D

The text advert wasn't the greatest timing!

Aye... Foxy hadn't managed to get vibrate on by that point ;)

Emailed the ticket office to inform them of the need to divorce your friends and also the booking fee thing.

I'm waiting on a reply from earlier this morning :)

Don't think they want me in the competition!

Me and the neighbour are going to renew. However, we may wish to change seats. Is it best to sort that out first before renewing, or is it a case of renew, then wait to see which seats come up for grabs (after the 3rd deadline day extension) and then ask to be moved?

cheers!

Judging by prevailing attitudes on this board you'll have the ground to yourself. Wait a while and you'll could snaffle a seat next to McCabe. He might get you some free soup.

What do you mean "snaffle a seat next to McCabe"??

I already sit next to him and I'm wanting to get away from him.

The blooming turncoat!

Lost the will to live and paid the £2.50 booking fee.

They can bloody refund it later.

Got a sales confirmation email through straight away.
