He was crap today.

Anyone watched the challenges against us again?

He was bloody awful. Chris Foy is awful at best at times but today he was truely shocking. Then you look at the cock-up Mark Halsey made yesterday. It's about time referee's were shot down for their mistakes. Docked pay, or suspensions etc

Some of the decision I can accept from today, the penalty at the end happened so quick that it is understandable it may be missed, especially when Boateng would have had his back turned to the ref.

But things like the handball in the second half where his hand was miles above his head.

The absoilutely awful challenge on Sharps knee.

Where Foy gave a free kick to 'boro instead of a corner to us too.

The "sending off" should have occured, even if he wasn't last man back, he is still deny a goal scoring opportunity, both are worthy of reds in the laws of the game, and sadly he bottled it.

The majority of refs this year have been poor to say the least, why Wheater wasn't sent off i don't know.

Although the best referee i have seen this year was Halsey at Swillsborough, so i don't know whether i want a good one

Also further to this, the linesmen didn't help at all today, making the refs job harder. The one at kop end was atrocious. Everytime the ball went out or a decision was made he waited for the ref to signal what it was before he showed with his flag.

Can't believe the ref made sure there wasn't a single balloon on the pitch, stopping play everytime there as one. Surely by doing that he's saying Alan Wiley did the wrong thing?

The one in second half could have caused a bad injury how he was charged in to

Just rewatched the doubld 'challenge' on Sharp & Squinny, the Sharp one was terrible, full stud's down his thigh, the suinny one was so late it hasn't happened yet

Ref didn't get much right today - the bloke who took Billy out should have gone for sure. The penalty against whatsisface when he kicked it up in air to his hand would have been harsh BUT should probably have been given if you go by the law?

EDIT : yeah sensi, that challenge on Billy was horendous too, can't believe he didnt do anything about that till squinny got took out aswell!

Havnt seen the challenge on Sharp again but from what I saw during the game it looked a bad one.

I really do not know how Boro did not have a man sent off.

You can guarantee that if we'd made the challenges Middlesbrough did then we wouldn't have finished with 10 men. Seems to be that Prem refs give the benefit of the doubt to the Prem players whoever they're playing.
