What the hell is happening to our game
Administration – for Clubs too numerous to list, ( but so far mainly lower league ), except maybe Leeds United.
Newcastle were verrrrry close to administration
Portsmouth , could go totally bust
Man Utd. Declare losses of £700 M +
West Ham are £110 M in debt
Derby have put all of their players on the transfer list as they try to raise £8m by end of this month
Notts County have been in administration , come out of it and are looking like collapsing again.
Sheffield Wednesday have no money & debts they find hard to service.
Why ?
( greedy football players & Agents )
Don’t try & force your board into paying silly money or silly wages for overpaid players , or this might happen to your club !
The average working man earns approx £20 k / year
A player on £50 k / week earns around £2.5 Mill / year ( not including naming rights etc. )
A player on £25k / week earns around 1.25 Mill / year
Championship players will range from £5k / week ( £250k / year ) at the low end
To £20k / week ( £1 Mill / year )
Are they really worth that much ???
