I'll no doubt see some of them at work tomorrow.

Just remind them that their record attendance of 33042 is what we have been getting most weeks ;)

At West Ham some were singing "Ten men went to bed, went to bed with your wife" to the tune of "10 men went to mow"! But yes, was much more of it at Reading. The twats that go in the side stand near the away end are the equivalent of our G&H block before we had to clean it up there I suppose.

A good chunk of the current Reading "fans" had never been to a football match a couple of years ago, half the rest are really armchair fans of the big London clubs that since Reading went up have decided they may as well go watch them. I'll no doubt see some of them at work tomorrow.
Would hardly say it was g&h! If it would have kicked off most of them in there would have run off.

What a dissapointment it was. Nothing really to cheer about all game although my mate was going radge at the Reading fans but they were a bunch of twats really :D

What Keef did was a discrase I seen all what happend. Even if Hunt was wrestling with him it's still no excuse to elbow the baw bag. I didn't see what happend on touchline at the game but from just seeing it on SSN it was a blatent attack on Warnock and he did nothing back.

I still believe that Warnock is the man too keep us up ok it was a poor performace but look at how high up the table, 7th!!! Away from home it's not a bad result against them.

1st ever away game was a great experience and I look forward to maybe a few more this season.

, but today we needed somebody to pass the ball and keep possesion, A. Quinn (and his brother to be quite honest) just doesnt do that. Tonge does, i watched the game online and it was pretty obvious nobody in midfield kept hold of the ball.

Tonge doesn't seem a capable passer f the ball these days. I'd myself over him in the centre of midfield, and im as lazy on pitch as him too.

Game was dire, and nobody really performed, but a few did under perform, Hulse i barely noticed all game, stead was poor, kozzy was kozzy, keef well..... Squinny, we dont actually know what his position was with in the team, and didn't do anything. monty was his poor self but did a few lovely touches. the defence looked to be sleeping half the game,

ah well great day, but what can i say about reading town centre except for DUMP.

:) we saw you after the match queuing up for the bus.

Just wish you'd brought us some luck and could've witnessed your first away win.

Aye did for awhile but then went fuck it and got a taxi to the station :)

Oh I'd also like to say that Monty was probably our best player of the game. Actually only made 2 cock up passes from what I remember which is a first.

Didn't manage to get many pictures as most of my attention was spent on looking after Foxy who didn't feel well yesterday (and that was before kickoff!)

The ones we do have are HERE and there's a report knocking around on the main site.

Do people not watch football games anymore? Do people just think everyone had a bad game? Quite a coincidence, don't you think?

Anyone remember the last time we played with such a ridiculous line up?
When we had so many defenders that everyone was under eachothers feet?
When "wingbacks" were tried and ended up playing deeper than they would if they were playing fullback, subsequently allowing the opposition's fullbacks to get forward and put us under pressure (and maybe even score!)?
When the midfield should've been supported by said "wingbacks" but end up woefully outnumbered and ultimately bypassed?
Try 16th September 2006.

He hasnt been at his best but to say he isnt a capable passer of the ball is garbage. He rarely wastes possesion.

Say what you want about him and i agree with most of it, we look a far far worse side keeping the ball without him as saturday showed.

Get somebody decent alongside him or get somebody decent and put him out wide and we will see a difference. Tonge has been poor this season in midfield but i dont think Monty, jagielka or leggy are better options.

After the terrible performance against boro I decided that away from home we need battlers to win the ball and help us grind out results – Tonge is not this kind of player.

The Reading match proved just how wrong I was, we were as bad if not worse with a team full of battling, defensive players.

The long ball tactics HAVE to stop and, as he is the most creative player, Tonge has to play in my opinion.

We need to add some footballers to this squad quickly or we will continue to struggle.

Monty and leggy are definately not better options than tonge, but who do you have with tonge if you play him in middle? maybe jags? we need someone to take the burden off tonge and let him have a more free roll to do as he wishes, but none of our players seem capable to support him with this.

I think tonge needs to improve a hell of a lot, he had the potential to be an amazing star, but that has dwindled a hell of a lot.

Obviously he needs to improve alot because he hasnt had the confidence to show anything like he can this season.

I do think its slightly unfair though how he gets all the stick when he is the one player who tends to make others look half decent by passing them the ball.

Its a double edged sword, against some teams he will get bullied but against others he should be playing (such as yesterday).

Lets put it this way, go through the programs this season and look at the dream team thingy for our players. Look how many of them have Tonge in thier side, id guess they would prefer to be playing with him than with Monty.

Jags isnt a midfielder in a million years, god knows why he plays there. Him and Tonge have never been a good partneship due to jagielka thinking he is a wonderful attacking midfielder and Tonge's poor tackling abilty.

I dont understand why our 2 best passers of a ball didnt play on saturday, but then again i dont think anybody understands warnocks ways.

got to be morgan and jagz at the back. Need midfielders to tackle and creat killer balls. tonge has pace and will be better out wide. he cant tackle, so dont play him in the middle when you need to get stuck in.

We wouldnt know seen as he refuses to use his dribbling skills anymore.

He pisses me off even more than monty with his complete refusal to use the brilliant skills we know he has. He's not as slow as some like to think either, i remember agaisnt villa in the cup a couple of years back he was doing delany for pace everytime.

If we didnt play long ball and give it straight back to the opposition the playmaker role wouldnt have to invlove getting stuck in.

this is the problem why warnock isnt buying midfielders, he thinks long ball will work all the time. He needs to go.

Long ball wont and it barely even worked in the championship. I just hope warnock gets his thinking cap on starts playing 4-4-2 and buys Lee Hendrie or another decent midfielder.

Looks like with nine votes... Keith Gillespie wins the MOTM :)

I could make a joke about men and how long they last... but I won't ;)

Well I think 12 seconds for a man is quite admirable  :p
