It'll be a third trip down to the Madejski for me.

I've seen us draw, I've seen us lose... now hopefully I'm due a win down there :)

The new signings give us some options in defence and up front so who would you start?

Probably an argument to keep the same side from Portsmouth.
Don't think anyone had a stinker, although Monty was his usual wasteful self he made himself a nuisance often enough and that could be important on Saturday.

Any news on Paddy / Doyle?

i would play the same side but with tongey instaed of monty he creates far more and can actually pass a ball, im a huge fan of monty but he lets us down at times. hope paddy is fit as i think he would have commanded the ball on saturday instead of davis and his mishap. but will be there cheering the boys on

The bench could be a very telling sign of the future on Saturday. If Killa is fit he will be a strong contender to start. It will give more balance to the centre of defence. Lucketti so I hear is definitely on his way to Hull, Seck signing would confrim that IMO, so it might be Claude and Killa in there.

Up front will stick with Hulse and Stead but Shelton might be on the bench with no Webber anywhere to be seen.

Killa in for Kozy and leave the rest as it was.

im with you on that one, although it dependsif he's fit. As for paddy he couldnt kick a ball still on friday, so doubt he will be back.

Gerrard
Killa
Claude
Lucky
Del Geary
Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeef
Jags
Tonge
Squinny
Hulse
Stead

Bench:
Shelton
Seck
Kozy
Monty
Nade

This is going to be meh 1st competitive away game for the Blades. Looking very much forward to it.

As for the team I'd keep it as it was with Killa for Kozzy and then put Geary right back. If Kenny's fit enough have him back in.

Gerrard
killgallon Davis Luckettie stretch
Keef Monty Jagz Squinny
Hulse Stead

Subs:
Nade
Seck
Shelton
A. Quinn
webber?

geary and kozzy managed to play left back fine and both are right backs so i think he could manage there. just what i think best we have at moment.

Lucketti wont play, neither will Armstrong and Tonge will be back in the side, webber wont be on the bench and neither will seck.

From a good source.

Therefore it may be bullshit and im going to look stupid.

on a seat.

sharpy whats the team according to the source?

haha very funny also when does the coach actually set off it says 8 on ticket but half 8 on os
Says that on my ticket too... I think I might call the box office tomorrow to clarify.

I reckon our line-up will be;

Gerrard

Del boy
Lucky
Claude
Killa

Keef
Jags
New signing
Squinny

Steady
Hulse

Subs;

Seck
Shelton
Nade
Colin
Tonge

As for the match, I predict we'll take the lead through Hulse or Steady, Reading will then equalise through a dodgy goal that should not have been allowed, they will get a penalty turned down late in the game, we go straight up the other end, get a free kick, Claude heads home and makes up for his blunder last Saturday and celebrates by doing a Reggae dance with Shelton infront of the United fans.:)

I rarely go to away matches, and this I'm sorry to say will be no different. Such is the lot when you are the father of a small child, and have a wife who insists that jobs around the house and garden can't wait until June, and then a June in a non-Euros or World Cup year. Honestly, women.

Kenny (may be fit in time)

kozluk
Davis
Killganan
Geary

Quinn (although it could be Tonge outwide instead)
Tonge
Jagielka
Keith

Stead
Hulse

Dont hold me on it though.

Women need to understand.....football comes first.

which quinn sharpy? id go along with that team but put tonge on the wing and squinny in middle. i think squinny could bring the attackers into the game more than tonge.

Stephen Quinn, not sure Alan will even be on the bench now this new guy has arrived.

As i said dont hold me on that side, my next door neighbour who works at the lane said he was told thats what it was.

Although he is a lying twat so 'reliable' isnt the word id choose!

hope kenny is back. gerrard is injured anyway isnt he, got a thigh strain?

If Gerrard's injured and Kenny and Bennett hadn't recovered, I think Warnock would be out there hunting a goalkeeper today.

Gerrards got a slight deadlleg, he is back in training tomorrow. Kenny and Bennett may both be back for reading.
