Not sure, i'm sure I saw pics of mates in there before the Stoke game
 
Farm road club saying its shut due to unpaid electric bill .
 
I heard they previously got a reprise, but have now closed... But I couldn't confirm.
 
It Is true I'm afraid in paid bills ,another one gone
 



I don't go in there on match days but I went in for a birthday bash just before last season finished and I've got to be honest, it was a shithole on its last legs so I'm really not surprised but I'm obviously gutted for all those who used it when they could.
 
Used it most home games pre match. Easy to park nearby and get away after game. Lots of seating and cheap ale.

Heard rumours that the Matilda may be reopening - obviously following a major refurb.

like Lansdowne, tramway ,Sheldon, sportsman, prematch pub crawl the angel of death can just stop there .
 
What, the old Heartbeat above the bowling alley? Gravy and chips and a game of bowls! Wednesday night special in HB.

Hung out there on my LI 150, Union Jack backrest and headrest, megaphone silencer, chrome work everywhere, fly screen and 22 mirrors aaaaahhhhhhhh. And we new how to dress, Parker, Levi and Doc Martins.

Impressed, but I would have been more so if you'd had an SX200.

The Queens Road Club used to be a very popular haunt of a load of Blades from Worksop I know quite well .

Fuck me , does that mean we'll have to put up with them in town :eek::eek:

Oh well , itll be mildly amusing watching them walking around the big tarn and wondering why we have red amber and green flashing lights on the roads ;)
 
Is this the working mans club on farm rd next to McDonald's or one on Queens rd?
 



From someone who used to go in with my Grandad and uncle donkeys years ago, this is quite sad - but it's only what is happening to pubs all over the place.

Bet someone has seen another opportunity for student flats !
