I see that we play them away very soon. Below are the comments of my Donny friend on last night's

game at the Keepmoat.


What an awful game last night Mainly hoofball from both sides, we were playing with 9 men Martin Woods and young Bennett just were not there, why we play Woods I have no idea, he is always where the ball isn't, a perfect hider Preston are a strange team, con artists, only a touch and they are on the floor, looking as if they have a broken leg, the ref let them get away with it and booked three of our players, not for fouls but complaining about what they were getting away with. I would suggest all together there was probably 30 minutes of play in the game the rest was free kicks and time wasting,Preston goalkeeper was booked for after he had put the ball down for a goal kick he went behind his net picked up a bottle and had a drink.

When we played Preston last season, I felt it was one of our tougher games. They seemed a big physical side and scored a cracking header. We won 2-1 (thanks to Ched) We later played Tranmere who looked a carbon copy.

Conning and time wasting are Graham Westley specialities. The man is a stain on professional football.

The antics of that Westley character and his assistant were something to behold. You can see why their team play in such a vile manner. Watch out League One for Stevenage and the sour taste they leave in your mouth.

Stevenage were nothing short of a disgrace on that day, and then Westley had the temerity to bring our approach to football into question just because he lost. He's a couple sandwiches short of a picnic and a nasty piece of work to boot. It's an old addage that football teams tend to adopt the mentality of their managers, and there's living proof of that with Stevenage. Without question one of the most thuggish teams I've had the displeasure of watching.

Doncaster are vastly overrated. I said before the defeat tuesday they could get relegated, and i stick by it. Preston top 6 probably. You can't go on 1 game anyway. That's where fans fall down on analysis. How many times i've heard "well they didn't look very good against us" then they win the league at a canter. Charlton last year a prime example. Nearly every game people were saying they don't look that good. You don't win games by looking good, you win games by scoring 1 goal more than the other team does.

This is the point , I've been on about since season started, win ugly, win pretty . BUT WIN. The 2 best footballing side's last year in this league, were US and M.K Don's and niether of us were promoted.
