Anyone got any favourites of a premier league club ud want us to have in fa cup this year if we get to the 3rd round personally id like Tottenham at home cos of the great matches we had last season with them

Everton, I've always liked them so it won't piss me off as much if we lose.
I'd like to have them at home as well give jags a welcome back applause like we did for walker but would like Tottenham at home due to the 2 great matches

The applause for Jags would be huge, it'd be a brilliant homecoming.
I'd be happy to have Spurs though, good footballing side and a big crowd guaranteed.

West Ham? Nah... would hate to lose at home to them.... If it was Prem, someone like Spurs as it'd be "light-hearted" after last years semis and I wouldn't be upset to lose to them, or Liverpool as a bit of a challenge... could we beat someone like that? I know we/I say we don't want the distraction of Cups this year, but if we get home ties only I'm all for it.

Personally (tin hat on) I would probably take losing in the first round. Every cup game is a chance of injury that could cost us the ultimate aim.

I really hate being in League 1.

I'd love it to be Liverpool at home. My glory-seeking son supports LFC and he'd jump at the chance of joining me. I'll struggle to get him motivated enough to watch the Bury game with me on Saturday.:(

Liverpool away so I can go. If we beat them then Rodgers would undoubtedly get the sack if he still has the job by then that is.

Statistically speaking we are unlikely to be paired with a premiership side and even less likely to be drawn at home against one but...............if it were to happen I would quite like Spurs or Man United.........However....I am already resigned to traipsing to some far-flung corner of the land....getting piss-wet through........being resented by the grumpy (probably in-bred) locals and seeing us snatch defeat from the jaws of victory..........ahhhhhh the romance of the FA Cup !!!! :)

Yeovil then.

I'm sure he'd get a huge hand from the crowd. Maybe he'll think he's playing in goal again and gift us a penalty.... or maybe not. Nice to see he's gone on to better things whilst the club have sunk lower and lower. Good on ya Phil. God bless you ma'am.

We'll beat anyone

But we won't be playing anyone. We'll be playing someone. No-one will care if we don't beat someone, but if we do beat someone we'll be sure to avoid no-one in the next round. If no-one turns up though will be playing someone, no-one or both or just no-one? But if everyone checks our result after we've beaten someone, everyone will be concerned that we could be playing anyone in the next round or no-one if someone has beaten us and then everyone will know they'll be playing someone. They'll all know though that we'll fancy our chances against anyone and everyone, but since we won't be playing anyone, we'll be playing someone in the next round.....

feckin complicated this FA Cup business!

Southampton, so we can shit on them again, handshake anyone;)

He never screwed us over, despite what many think. Whether we'd stayed up or gone down he would've moved on if someone bigger came calling. He didn't need to 'engineer' anything.
