im quite surprised at these comments. as i had highly rated the Watford team so much that I actually have them as champions but dont think ive seen such pessimistic comments from newly relegated team going into the lower division

Yeah very weird. The first competitive league match with new additions, plays, tactics and potentially formations I never try and call the first few games

I think that is the trouble - we haven't got many new players and it's pretty much the same squad as last season who performed so miserably.

Not won a home game since November!

And there is a lot of frustration and ire aimed at the board.

Got our usual random European imports up front despite the club saying we are looking for younger hungry players.

Of course we will give the new manager a chance but Watford fans know how long they usually last..

A defeat v you then West Brom and Burnley and Edwards will probably be looking over his shoulder!

Sarr and Dennis are still here but very few think they will stay if the right offers come in and question is how motivated will those 2 be?

I think Monday will be a draw.

My father-in-law is a Watford fan, he's pessimistic about footy at the best of times, so I'm taking their negativity with a pinch of salt. They're a self deprecating bunch, then will end up battering us 3-0

I’ve never forgiven these ****s for the way they celebrated when they drew with us on the final day of the 14/15 season and we blew the title.

Pigs drew with them on last day at of the season which gave Bournemouth the title.

I laughed at that too, I’m thinking you need to be of a certain age to have a clue what he’s on about. I was 17 when it came out and remember it being quite a scary thought that it could happen, it’d look like a U certificate now, how times have changed eh

I work with more Watford fans than any other team and they're a great bunch. I've always found that with Hornet's fans.
