Always makes me laugh when fans of teams in genuine relegation battles comment on the standard of the championship.

if the standard is abysmal how come you’re a point off the drop zone and not a point off top?

Just checked the weather forecast for Portsmouth and it looks like rain up until 10pm tonight then dry until Sunday.. if it is called off I suspect it will be a late decision as they will try to give it time to dry tomorrow morning. Not good for those intending to travel

It's dull and cold on the south coast today. Tomorrow should be dry but cold. You northerners might need a jumper.

Does anyone know the rules on squeezing 3 kids and 2 adults in to 4 seats?! Due to childcare issues I had to get a late ticket for my 4 year old but his seat is elsewhere. Rather than send my dad to sit on his own (or my 4 year old for that matter..) is anyone likely to kick up a fuss considering we're in safe standing?

It's just absolutely chucked it down. It's due to stop this evening until tomorrow evening so hopefully the ground staff will have plenty of time to sort the pitch out unless the temperature keeps dropping and freezes it.

What they are saying is that they are poor and the only reason they won’t be relegated is how poor the Championship is.

I get that angle but It’s not just Pompy fans that do it.

Wednesday fans spent all last year determined that it was the worst championship in human history because we finished on 90 points.

Yet the best manager who has ever lived failed to get them in the top 6 despite them frothing at the mouth all season at the prospect of him doing so.

The championship is what it is. Very competitive every year but it’s full of players with flaws. They’ve beaten 99% of footballers to make it to the championship but they’ve all usually got an obvious flaw which is why they’ve made it to an exceptionally high standard but not elite.
