Jesus. They've got Poleon, Forte and Philliskirk? Poor bastards.

Poleon...Forte...flashback to 0-0 vs Carlisle 2 years ago...aargh!

Pleased to read Forte is unlikely to play Saturyday, tho, as I'm sure he was planning to score to spite me!

Jesus after reading that I feel quite depressed, so just think how they must feel.

“Minutes applause tomorrow in memory of Harry Dowd “

Let's hope all fans participate. UTB

“We’ve been voted the 19th best ground in league one” (Blades voted 4th in same poll. http://www.the92.net/stats#.VScED_nF96w)

Oh FFS, not another fucking useless poll. Hillsborough 13th, above Villa Park, Stamford Bridge, White Hart Lane, Goodison, King Power????????????

Us at 36th. When did they last visit Swillsborough? 1966?

And Mellis, the Diego of the past

"“someone please tell me how Philliskirk keeps starting games? He’s one of the most innaffective players I’ve ever watched”

Good work Roy. Swap "innaffective players" for "useless cunts" and I think you've managed to find a direct quote from me circa 1986.

Poor Tony's getting it in the neck for 20 years ago now! haha

Blimey. How miserable are they?

Baxter played 40 odd games for them didn't he?

Isn't Oldham one of those teams where we have two sent off on a fairly regular basis?

I think we would have been a lot higher but for our stewards and catering. No shit.

That's not an Oldham fans' poll it's a general ratings site. If you click on Bramall Lane it's full of the likes of owlh3vz and dunsbyowl giving it 1 star while Hillsborough is full of the same names voting it 5 stars.

“I still remember the number of goals we gave away because Johnson was watching the man he was supposed to be marking from the
other half of the field. The same applied to Baxter. Neither of those two would make themselves available when the ball was in a
difficult spot and both gave the ball away more than Philliskirk. “

Interesting comment about Baxter.........a central midfield player should never hide and should always make themselves available.
IMHO I Don't think Baxter does - hence the reason for not liking him in that position - it's just too important.

How the feck is Dean Court above Bramall Lane!!!

Not sure about that, but I was just thinking, I've obviously selected my visits carefully, but I've only ever seen us draw 1-1 there. Just saying.....

The kop is possibly one of the worst stands in all grounds, even in league 1. You have two great columns blocking the view, it is not steep enough and you cannot see sometimes even when all are standing up, the worst bit yet is that if you want to take a leak you have to get wet if it is raining, or if you fancy a beer....again you have to drink it in the rain.

Built on the cheap 24 years ago, and past its life expectancy. Who would have thought the like of Donny, Rotherham and Chesterfield would have better facilities that the Blades.

What surprised me with the kop, is that the idiots in charge simply wanted to add 4K seats at the back in the grand World Cup plan.
The front 10.5K seats have always been shit to sit on, as you have eluded to already.
It might be noisy when full, but you have to be a midget to sit comfortably.
Shocking design, done on the cheap (and yes, understand the reason at the time it was done), but still not good in any way shape or form.

As a club we have a distinct shortage of "quality" seats for games and with John Street continually used for family only, then going forward the club has a problem.

£100m per year in the premier might just persuade the board to consider a change sooner rather than later - should we ever get there!

Nailed on to score tomorrow then.

Me too, both in the 90s under Bassett. Jamie Hoyland in one and I think Alan Cork in the other game.

Bloody hell, these two anonymous fans really didn't like their BDTBL experience...
