And Mellis, the Diego of the pastJesus. They've got Poleon, Forte and Philliskirk? Poor bastards.
Poleon...Forte...flashback to 0-0 vs Carlisle 2 years ago...aargh!
Pleased to read Forte is unlikely to play Saturyday, tho, as I'm sure he was planning to score to spite me!
"“someone please tell me how Philliskirk keeps starting games? He’s one of the most innaffective players I’ve ever watched”
Good work Roy. Swap "innaffective players" for "useless cunts" and I think you've managed to find a direct quote from me circa 1986.
“We’ve been voted the 19th best ground in league one” (Blades voted 4th in same poll. http://www.the92.net/stats#.VScED_nF96w)
Oh FFS, not another fucking useless poll. Hillsborough 13th, above Villa Park, Stamford Bridge, White Hart Lane, Goodison, King Power????????????
Us at 36th. When did they last visit Swillsborough? 1966?
That's not an Oldham fans' poll it's a general ratings site. If you click on Bramall Lane it's full of the likes of owlh3vz and dunsbyowl giving it 1 star while Hillsborough is full of the same names voting it 5 stars.“We’ve been voted the 19th best ground in league one” (Blades voted 4th in same poll. http://www.the92.net/stats#.VScED_nF96w)

John Flynn and Bobby Campbell in 1977Blimey. How miserable are they?
Baxter played 40 odd games for them didn't he?
Isn't Oldham one of those teams where we have two sent off on a fairly regular basis?

Charlie Hartfield & Paul Beesley in 1991

The kop is possibly one of the worst stands in all grounds, even in league 1. You have two great columns blocking the view, it is not steep enough and you cannot see sometimes even when all are standing up, the worst bit yet is that if you want to take a leak you have to get wet if it is raining, or if you fancy a beer....again you have to drink it in the rain. How the feck is Dean Court above Bramall Lane!!!
Glenn Cockerill and Joe Bolton in 1984.

Built on the cheap 24 years ago, and past its life expectancy. Who would have thought the like of Donny, Rotherham and Chesterfield would have better facilities that the Blades.
Not sure about that, but I was just thinking, I've obviously selected my visits carefully, but I've only ever seen us draw 1-1 there. Just saying.....
Me too, both in the 90s under Bassett. Jamie Hoyland in one and I think Alan Cork in the other game.
Jesus. They've got Poleon, Forte and Philliskirk? Poor bastards.
