Roy, I will miss view from while it's close season. Favourite bit of this forum.
Bless their little cotton socks. They've no concept of real clubs supporters. They've not had enough time to build up lifelong loves of their club and don't realise quite how much ours mean to us. It would be nice to think all Blades will behave like a Sunday school outing. It will not happen. Too much passion, too much disappointment to erase and more than likely, too much pop. This is not a basketball game, it's football. No offence meant, but they will witness giddiness in its purest form, and maybe it's darkest.

Like the Viz letter where a bloke complained about all the terrible abuse he got for being a Man United fan. Said was never like this when he supported Arsenal.

MKD are one of the weirdest clubs I've been to. I remember going the day after Ched got sent down and walked past several of their fans in Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal shirts/scarves. Very odd.

Football was invented by Coca-Cola and the first organised competition was the Premier League.

All other clubs but Manchester United (as they were once known before dropping the geographical prefix) were formed for the sole purpose of giving them someone to play against. Those clubs have no other purpose and no supporters.
