Pre-Match View From Forest

Speaking as an aforementioned scrote a win over the scabs is always a sweet occasion.
The Play Off match will always be remembered for these reasons:
1. Pesky's goal - one of the best I've seen at BDTBL.
2. That was my last season on the kop. Moved to South Stand season after ...a better class of scrote.
3. I started the 'You're not singing anymore' chant after the Pesky goal. From Gangway B back of Kop. Verified claim.
I predict a 2 -1 win.

I can't help wondering what Tyler would have made of some of those comments.

Siiiiiiigh.

Peschi......................OMG..........OMG.............OMG

Love it :D

You have to laugh at Pesch when he's walking back to the half way line blowing through his arse.

Mind you, his lap of honour took him down Shoreham Street, left up St Mary's Gate, a swift pint in The Moorfoot Tavern and back up Bramall Lane before putting his shirt back on and re-starting the game.

Magical night,

You can see me photobombing Neil Warnock on the pitch at 18:13 in this video. It's probably the greatest night I've experienced as a Blade, and by far the greatest atmosphere. Me and my mate handed out all the balloons that came cascading down at the beginning of the match, and in the other big games that season.

I know that play off game in 2003 would take some getting over but they seem to have forgotten the exit we gave to Clough senior on his last game in management, even if wednesday (couldn't see it) or leeds did that to a legend of ours in the future, I'd always have respect for them.
Yer, If I remember, most if not all United the fans stayed at the end to give ‘Clough senior’ a rowsing send off, remember it being an emotional final game for him, one of the games truly great characters of Football. Think we won 0-4

He mentions us in his autobiography: " Suddenly, after the second goal went in, Sheffield United's supporters, those lovely people from Yorkshire, set up the chant: Brian Clough, Brian, Clough, Brian Clough"...(p.292-293).

Always found it a bit weird why they hate us so much yet have no hatred whatsoever for Wednesday. They even sing about us in that 'We all follow the Forest' song.

Nethertheless should make for a great atmosphere on satdi so looking forward to it. Blades 2-0 tree shaggers.

Some teams matter and some don't.

That's why they hate us. Long may it continue. :)

2-0 and we played em off the park. Previous year we beat em 5-2 . Two of my most memorable and enjoyable away games ever.

Regarding forest I have no real thoughts one way or the other. Thought they were a great team in the late 70s early 80s.
Every game at the lane against forest that I have attended we have always won.
better get yourself down there tomorrow then mate ;)

Exactly. I would have expected any decent set of fans to have done this but we were the ones who did it, funny how none of them remember this.

stupid accent - and I have to work with a few
porter scores - not just one but 2
sent down by bassett
scabs - snigger, snigger
but 2003 beats the lot. What a night that was. Incredibly noisy match from start to finish with 7 goals and atmosphere and tension. 2-0 to the football team , 2-0 to the foo.......

Not one to forget whoever you were supporting.
