“We’ve only lost once this season to a top 6 side”

If ever we needed an extra incentive to put one over them...this comment and the away fixture which was classic example of 2 points dropped. Sure CW will have them right up for this tomorrow.

This is why I've always said I like Charlton. Their supporters have always come across as decent and knowledgable people. Which is why I was happy to support their boycott in November (although I admit that buying a match ticket probably defeated that purpose somewhat).

I don't give a fuck about Coventry's situation for the opposite reasons.

This is the same Coventry team that's sold 42k+ tickets for their cup final, I see the boycott is certainly coming along well. Errr perhaps Wembley doesn't count. Hypocrisy of the highest order.

Bang on.

Their fans deserted them in droves long before SISU became an issue. Then they have the nerve to get angry about us taking the piss at a game that they tried all night to sabotage for our team.
Now suddenly they all crawl out the woodwork for a tinpot trophy and forget their "principles".

Loathsome shitbags, I genuinely hope they go bust.

Charlton fans genuinely rescued their club by fighting for the right to return to The Valley, which has since been transformed from a derelict vegetable patch into a really nice stadium. No wonder they are angry now.

And let's not forget the FA Cup 2014

Round 5: Sheffield Wednesday 1 Charlton 2
Round 6: Sheffield United 2 Charlton 0

God bless 'em, I say.

I think they had issues with a lack of support from the council so a load of supporters put themselves up for election as councillors. Local authority elections have such a poor turnout they seriously threatened the position of the existing councillors who suddenly decided returning to the Valley was a good thing.

They certainly did. Charlton's fans showed what being a pressure group is all about. Fair play to them.

“Sheffield Utd isn’t rotten top to bottom. Don’t think he could’ve done anything with the general shit we have to put up with.”

We were completely rotten from top to bottom, until Wilder walked through the door.

The Charlton fans I spoke to pre and post match - re FA Cup Qtr Final a couple of years ago - were a thoroughly decent bunch.
Not up themselves and gave credit where it was due - a common loathing of the arrogance from S6 was a strong bond

I remember playing them at the end of the season at the Valley (think when we lost to Palace in final. Hopkin goal) all the staff n fans were very friendly, wishing us good luck for the play offs.
Bumped in to Sean Bean after and he autographed a packet of fags for my then g/f.....she creamed herself, bless her !

I gave this a like cos for some reason it gave me a semi.

A little surprised that one of them highlighted Duffy as our dangerman. Not even sure he'll play and whilst he's had some good/ excellent spells when I've seen him, he seems to have a tendency to go missing in games. Perhaps more down to positioning.

As for danger men, Sharp, Freeman, Fleck all come to mind before Duffy, but it also shows that we have a lot of very good players

For a L1 flair player he's pretty decent. He is in and out of games and doesn't always make the right decisions but a lot of our attacking play goes through him and his ability to beat a man creates space for other players to exploit.

I will glady support the Charton cause tomorrow.........If only to piss off Cov fans.
But respect to the Chalton fans if they manage a pitch invasion from BL upper!
