Thanks Roy, their form has been quite good in the last couple of weeks and injuries have sapped us a bit so i think this game is going to be a lot closer than it would've been a month ago, I'm quite looking forward to the game tomorrow, the kestrel has landed

They think that we're pulling the wool over their eyes as regards the injury situation?

Do they seriously think that we've been holding back our best players just so we can beat bloody Barnsley at home?

They've obviously been stealing packs of deludimol from the sty

Let me get this right some Barnsley fans are calling us out for our away support when we’ve averaged the highest in the league home and away so far this season? Not to mention we was poor at start of the season. You couldn’t make it up could ya 😂😂😂
Attendances seem to be a big thing for the pigs and pigs lite supporters. Will start worrying about that sort of thing when you receive additional points for it..

“they are poor travelers though. Can’t even crack 2k for a short evening trip to the seaside. Poor for a local city club that’s in a great league position. Much like I said about Fulham if we were in the same position as the Blunts we’d be taking more than that”

“Considering the number they get at home, their away numbers are pretty poor, and have been for several years.”

There's a website that shows average away followings but I can't remember what it is. Without looking, i bet we're in the top 5.

Anyone know the site?

.”League one has 2 bigger clubs than blunts in it”

I spy somethings beginning with ‘P’

Try top 1. We have highest home gates this season and us and Forest have been battling for top spot away all season. Can’t remember the site but there’s updates on Twitter regularly 👍🏻

.”League one has 2 bigger clubs than blunts in it”

why are they in league 1 then

Sunderland are a one club city but are the only club in league one thats had a 30k average home attendance this century
and Portsmouth recently won the fa cup but dont get great crowds

Sunderland are definitely BIGGER than us and more successful.
Pigs are more successful than us. Last 5 or 6 years we've narrowed the gap on the fanbase.
Both the above and Bolton have had more top flight seasons than us.
Ipswich have won a European Competition, although their success was all within ~20yrs

Sometimes removing the tints offers a better view of things

how are pigs more succesful than us in our lifetime
dont forget this current club only formed in 1990
they won 1 m pound for winning 1 league cup since world war 2
we got 150m for winning championship runners up trophy in 2019 so have 150 times more prize money

we have a far better overall league record than the pigs

and if things stay as they are next season theyll have spent as long in div 3 as we have
theyve had 4 seasons more in the top division one of those the first season by drawing of lots so only 3 in reality

their grounds only ever been upgraded by the FA who no longer need it so they have a rusting pile of shit to play in
and crowds still in decline due to needing a tetanus jab to go in

I know you live in Spain, but your specs are very tinted aren't they

I've answered each bleow.

What's "our lifetime" got to do with it. If that's what we're going with though, our honours are a big fat ZERO!

I'd sooner have a trophy than the money. When I die, i'd like to have told my Grand Kids about the time we won the FA Cup or League as opposed to spunking £150m on McBurnie and Brewster
we have a far better overall league record than the pigs
Probably because we've spent more seasons in lower divisions, meaning we win more matches.

4 seasons more, but 3 titles more

State of the ground, or who paid to upgrade it isn't considered when looking at historical success

We were top of the away averages when I saw the figures a couple of weeks ago (a few dozen above Forest). We are certainly top of the home averages.

Have the pigs ever topped the Championship averages? I doubt it. As for the Dingles, they are generally near the bottom of the averages.

Let's smash these please. I absolutely cannot stand them.

4 fa cups and all 4 division titles

your choice ask our chairman whats preferable winning a league cup or a season bathing in money

a myth from owls next season owls spent as long in div 3 as us 4 seasons more, but 3 titles more yes when refs wore tweed suits and no fans who saw them are alive today
State of the ground, or who paid to upgrade it isn't considered when looking at historical success
not what owls say the old lady is why they are better in their eyes
youve been taken in by their propaganda

the only reason they had better crowds was the 8 years after the war when most of sheffield having been bombed were sent to new estates in north Sheffield
and it was thrupence to get in and it was one of the few things to do
