You Missed one from Pitsmoor..

"I fink he's like daft to go there like you know cos their attendances are not what I fink that a propper club gets you know like and he's not that good you know I fink he was when he here like but now he's gone there like he's not as good anymore"

"Do ya get me?.....like.....I had to admit they're a big club. In fact Sheffield is a massive massive football area.
If United were in the PL they'd easily get 35 to 40,000 and we'd get close to 50,000.
In fact.... Awa seyin to my mate...right....if Wednesday were charging proper prices we'd now be selling out Hillsbro every match and do ya know right....if Wednesdsy did well in the PL we'd be like the 4th or 5th best supported club in England. I remember when we had Ron Atlinson and we were regularly getting 40 and 50,000 crowds in the 90's. Have alas said that Wednesday are a bigger club than Leeds. Do you what a mean?
Am not being funny but we should be up there with the Manchesters and Liverpools. Like Sheffield is a massive place with a massive fanbase and both clubs should be doing better. Do you know what a mean?"

Yep. The only way for any signing. Pleased with this one on paper though.

yes true - now it's down to the coaching staff to make him better.

Think he plays right side - be interesting to see where Duffy goes?
Duffy hasn't had the best of starts but liked what I saw/heard from his time at Burton and certainly his 2nd half performance v Oxford was encouraging - especially in and around their box - he's got a nice touch and expecting the same from Lavery.

Besides if Lavery does well you know THEY will sell so if there is a healthy sell-on clause it could work out well.

This one knows us only too well

Really excited to see this lad me. Struck up a good partnership with McNulty last year, and Sharp and McNulty have a lot of similarities but Billy is clearly a better player so it should be a really good one to watch. We have a lot of options now up top, different options:

Sharp: poacher, goalscorer, holds the ball up well
Clarke: target man, goalscorer (admittedly not yet for us), streetwise
Done: willing runner, tenacious, brave and non stop
Lavery: zip, urgency, quality and pace

We could have done with keeping DCL for me, I wouldn't have sold him. But it's a good price for him, lets see if the likes of Jake Wright jnr can step up now when he's back from his loan at York.

“Agent Clarke and Agent Lavery our new dream team at the stain!”

“Blunts getting back to their roots, having to use Wednesday cast offs “

Like the time Agent Quinn came back to bite them on the arse? We always do alright with the Murderers "cast offs" historically.
I only read up on Leigh Bromby the other day.
I had forgotten he played over 100 times for them and us . A record.

Anyone know what Caolan Lavery's squad number is ?

Anyone know if James Wallace got a squad number ?

Anyone know which bits of him are kaput at the moment ?

Including Lavery and excluding JW & those loaned-out , we seem to have a first team squad of just 23 , which is half of last seasons peak of 46 oft quoted by barmy Adkins.

So there is now a nice balance between enough cover for injuries and not too many to prevent genuine competition for places.

We shall know if the overall quality was good enough if we are smiling in May 17.

He's been wearing training gear with #9 on.

No, no squad number

Anyone know which bits of him are kaput at the moment ?
This song sums it up nicely - it's a list of Wallace's injuries since he joined us

Lavery's got the number 9 shirt

Disappointing he isn't playing toneet. Was hoping to get a good luck, even if half fit.

Any particular reason ??
