Sorry no full report but pod out in half an hour....check Spotify, ITunes, Soundcloud for Tufty Club

My feeds were terrible so cannot give a full and accurate description with ratings.

Had several I tried to access but most were unwatchable. I saw a few bits and actually had it for the goals but it looked from game I saw that Preston were a lot better first half and had a few decent but not clear cut chances and we looked a bit asleep. We then scored a goal with great work from Ndiaye again and a trademark sit down of a defender and finish - again off the post (how does he keep doing that?). Second half we seemed much better and seemed in control and the goal before half time seemed to flatten PNE. We took over with a degree of comfort after that and Berge did brilliantly to tee up McBurnie.

After that we kind of coasted to the win and they run out of steam completely with Wes only making one good save. It is another big game where we were not at our best, as in the week but we keep winning and now with others dropping points we have a nice cushion.

I cannot give you ratings as did not see enough but Ndiaye seemed to work really hard and Berge was key in the big moments.

Hopefully normal service resumed in a few weeks

My stream was buffering constantly after the first 30mins or so but I saw the important bits.

In the first half Preston looked like a team playing at home who were fired up to play the league leaders. They won a lot of second balls. We weren't competitive enough and when we did get on the ball were a bit sloppy. But they created very little and I never felt that they were going to score. We soaked up the pressure and hit them with a bit of quality. Second half we got more of a grip of the game and controlled it. It's a deserved win.

My stream on iptv was fine for the first half but in the second it was buffering badly. Took a look at Hesgoals and they had a good SD stream, no buffering. Did anyone pay for the game on SUTV and have any problems?

The usual mediocre resolution apart, SUTV was fine today.

My IPTV was perfect all way through 😁

Short summary. Strange game they had most of the midfield first half but a moment of magic from Ndiaye meant we went in 0-1 in front at half time. Second half we tightened up but we didn't look our usual fluid self until Doyle came on and Berge pushed forward. Cue second goal from Berge's pressing up the pitch. They finally get a good shot on target and Wes pulls off a good save.

What did we learn. Well 5-2-3 doesn't work with Berge and Norwood deep. Anel is much better at RCB and Bash deserves plaudits for filling in at LCB. Mcb after a year of not being able to hit a barn door is now scuffing them in from three yards out, long may it continue. Captain is back to bring some much needed savvy in how to run a game down.

On the pitch everything seems to be going for us at the moment. 3 scruffy away wins on the trot. Performance is secondary points take priority. Off the field the problems of injury management continue and presently looks to be the only reason that may de rail us. With every passing week Clark begins to look like the new Charlie Goode. We really need to find that quality LCB in January to keep up the momentum.

Just have to hope everyone returns fit from the International break. A very good first 10 games. The Board need to find the time now to back the manager over pending contract issues and concentrate on consolidating the primary club in United World at the top of the table.

Disappointing Deadbat

Agree with Addison to an extent on McBurnie, for me the difference is that a year ago he would have been 15 or 20 yards away from where he should have been. I've never felt he's particularly missed loads, he's never been in the right positions to even have the chances.

Clark looks like he is going to be too injury prone - we need to review his contribution very carefully in January + if appropriate replace him - we can't carry an unfit loanee in a promotion bid.
