How many penalties have we given away this season. It's ridiculous, we cannot defend a lead. I am not one to slag individuals off but Simmonsen seems to just drop to the floor and go the same direction every time. Has he even got close to saving one?

2 penalties away to Bristol C
2 penalties away to Norwich
1 at home to Palace
1 at home to Hull

Its shocking and unprofessional, come one Simmo sure you can get us out of jail at least once.

Just tried to work it out and I think its 9 pens we have given away and they have all been scored.

Yep and not all of them nailed on penalties.

We have had our quota of 2 and 1 of them was never a penalty.

Totally agree, that not all of them were pens, the one on Sunday was not in the box for me but that's how you go down, our luck is so bad at the moment, at least it can only get better can't it?

Injuries suspension and then then refs that would give a penalty against us at the half way line.

Maybe thats it for us for a while now I guess the noughties have been our "golden years" and we are heading for some lower league games with the mighty Rovrum and Chesterfield.

We're at the bottom and you expect to have more go against you than you get ... if you're attacking and dominating less, then you will get more given against you. However, the number of dubious ones going against us right now is worrying. I hate to throw the word 'conspiracy' around but are we getting punished for suing Wet Sham and kicking up a fuss over our relegation?

Our defence sounds about as bad as I can remember - we're giving away penalties for fun, we concede goals from free headers and how many times has a team taken the ball from their own half to the back of our net in one sweeping move this season. Utter shite.

We have been shat on for many years by refs but to be honest if we were 6th right now I think most of us would still be finding alot of these "decisions" dodgy to say the least.

Well our defence is shocking, Our centre halves are both on loan and lets face it, if we do go down will they be bothered? They will still go back to their parent clubs and forget about their time here... That's why we need our own players. Also Calve is another who I believe was brought in on a seasons loan who has looked shocking at his best, may as well play Kozluk.

As much as I didnt want Kozzy to be re signed he must be thinking what does he have to do to get into the first team right now.

I went through the fixtures earlier and counted 9 that had been scored against us this season. Cannot remember anyone missing one against us either.

LOL! You wont find anyone missing because Simmo always goes the wrong way!

I can't think of one pen where he's been anywhere near close to stopping it

Thanks btw

Will someone please tell Simonson to dive the other way to the way he plans to dive. Thanks.

Did Monty need to make contact? Could he have avoided the situation and got goalside without contact. I know it was never a pen per everybody on radio and at the match and I know you have to trust refs as a player but was there any element of Monty doing his headless chicken make a challenge for ball at all costs?

Nope, we're just poor in defence and having crappy luck. Let's not look beyond our own failings.

how many have we conceded for the season, anyone know?

And how many has The Maestro given away in the course of breaking up play and protecting the back four?

i think cheated is the way we felt in the car coming home,Foxy. We were in control up to that first penalty where Holt appeared to dive over the ball. he players just stared in astonishment at the award .

On the way home,we were listening to the Radio Norfolk commentary of the golas and during the commentary of the penalty award, the commentator said that Holt was 'rather fortunate'

Ref missed a blatant penalty on Ched near the end of the first half where he was man handled to the ground but the fould given agains him. I

Near the end of the game, there appeared to ba a handball by a Norwich player in the box...nothing given. Speaking to a couple of Norwirch fans after the game, they said it was a nailed on pen

THe second half the other day and the game today have shown vast improvements...there appears to be a glimmer of hope that we have a chance of staying up
