Just read an article in which Scot Parker vents about the fixture changes that his side have encountered this week... To be honest, the bloke probably has a right to be a little bit aggrieved. But then again, surely Bournemouth could have adjusted to make things a bit easier for themselves? Whether they should have had to is another story, but to make things just a little bit easier for themselves?

As with us and pretty much every team, Sky came in and meddled with the fixtures in order to accommodate TV coverage. Bournemouth originally would have played West Brom on Tuesday night and then us at the usual 3pm on Saturday.

Sky however had other ideas.... in the space of a couple of days, they changed Bournemouths trip to West Brom to a Wednesday night...they then came back and change Bournemouths trip to the Lane to an earlier 12.30 kick off.

Parker I obviously aggrieved by this.....

His Bournemouth team only returned from West Brom at around 3am this morning apparently. But now he has little time to prepare for his trip to BDTBL Lane and his team will have to board a coach and travel all the way up to us tomorrow, in order to get some shut eye before Saturday's early kick off.

Whilst obviously we will welcome some tired legs and minds when we play them at the weekend, part of me see their point..... all this fixture changing is a pain in the arse and it does cause problems to teams and fans alike.

But perhaps Bournemouth could have helped themselves a little better here?

Whilst it's a Ball ache granted... I have seen similar with teams in the past and they have stayed up north. I know that there is an option in which teams can utilise St George's Park in scenarios like this. Therefore wouldn't it have made a bit more sense to stay up north? Grab a training session and utilise the state of art facilities, before the reasonable journey over from Burton to Sheffield?

They didn't have to travelled all the way home did they....they chose to.

I do get it, it's annoying...... but we have to use it to our advantage hopefully. UTB

I mentioned on anothed thread that they could fly to Donny

I’m hoping for a a tired, fragmented, demoralised team led by an lacking manager who’s only jobs have been to steer promotion tipped sides to promotion turn up. Then draw 😂.

Jokes aside, we were robbed three points at their place the lads will be well and truly fired up, and so, in some alternative universe a win in this game puts us above them in the table.

They could indeed fly..... they have lots of alternatives to cut down the travelling. Staying up north seems the most feasible of them all.....

But you have to question Sky and the EFL. After all, they rescheduled the fixtures with a return commute of 820 miles total... with about 65 hours between games 😂😂

They have one of the most largest most expensive squads in the frigging league. Rest and rotate.

If Bournemouth haven’t got the time to prepare adequately for this game and tired players they have got the advantage of strength in depth, although you’d expect this affect fluidity on the pitch. Will find out on Saturday I suppose, but back in the premier league days I always loved facing a top 6 side just after a European outing, despite their qualities it always seemed to be a leveller (first season 😂)

SGP is being used by the Lionesses as it's the women's international break ahead of the Euros this summer

SGP could suitably house half a dozen teams at the same time buddy, if not more.....

The place has more than a dozen outdoor training pitches, multiple gyms, a swimming pool, multiple rehabilitation and doctors suites and a whole block of technical suites and rooms.

Bournemouth game wasn't on Sky last night. The match should have been played originally on Feb 5 which was postponed due to Bournemouth getting knocked out of the FA Cup by Boreham Wood. It was rearranged for Tuesday but then put back to Wednesday because West Brom's game against Birmingham last weekend was put back to Sunday on police advice.

The only influence by Sky is the 12.45 kick off on Saturday instead of 3 pm.

Our game against Blackpool was played on Wednesday not because of anything other than the league split the midweek fixtures over two days. We then had our Barnsley game swapped to lunchtime on police advice.

I couldn't give a fat, puckered, bronzed, waxed cat's arsehole about Bournemouth and their hardships. This is a national league and we've all had elements of this season where we've all been cunted about, fixtures cancelled, rearranged, travelling in inconvenient ways and facing the truth of being a football team.

Frankly, I hope the fuckers are fucked and demoralised when they come out on Satdi and we wipe the fucking floor with them, with their star players picking up injuries to boot.

Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get, and in my box offered to them, one or two of them will have centres filled with warm, sloppy diarrhoea fired from above mentioned feline's bullethole. Crunchy toenail clippings and footshavings in others, and fat, crispy bogies and helmetzola with crease-grease in more.

I agree, aside from them getting injured as I wouldn't wish injuries on anyone.

Could work out in our favour.

I alluded to this the other day.

They weren't really against using the recent winds to get a game cancelled for which they had players missing so zero sympathy. Hope they're absolutely knackered and grumpy.

Ask Parker to comment on why they didn’t play the Forest fixture when they should and could !!

Some perspective needed here. I read the "article" and didn't sound like Parker is aggrieved more just stupid sensationalist newspaper/online clickbait as per usual.

Parker said he was "surprised" at the kick off change and expected they'll bounce back. No mention of being aggrieved 🙂

Diplomacy at its absolute finest pommpey. 😂 Fuck Bournemouth

Used to really like Scott Parker as a player but since he’s become a manger he gets on my nerves for some reason

No sorry. No sympathy for them at all.
They'll be up now, quick massage and rub down, back home, quicky wit Mrs, board the coach tomorrow ( bet its a class coach ) dropped outside hotel, 5* , up Saturday morning bit of a natter, back on coach to BDTBL.
Nah, stuffem, these fixture changes are a bigger hinderence to us fans than them.

Maybe you should request a seat on their coach for the trip up, then you could actually let them know how you really feel... 😉
