What has Bednar got to do with Paddy?

Paddy had in his system a performance enhancing drug.

Bednar was guilty of purchasing a drug that wouldn't improve his performance.

In the eyes of sport - Kenny should be dealt with a lot heavier than Bednar.
In the eyes of the law - Only Bednar can be prosecuted.

Whilst cocaine would improve some attributes of a player - the detrimental effects from the rest would counter balance this

I fully agree with RivdaleDvBlade that Paddy will get a two year ban - but he is a professional sportsman and should know better than to buy over the counter medicines without club doctor approval - being not the brightest button in the box is not mitigating circumstances

The facts when they come out I am sure will make it ridiculous that he claims to have taken over the counter drugs in line with the suggested dosage. Would suggest he was taking an ECA stack which enhances performance and helps you lose weight. Body builders use it to lose body fat and train harder. Would sort of fit in with his new slim line figure last 18 months or so. An ECA stack is Ephedrine, Caffiene, Aspirin, Ephedrine is contained in chest remedies such as chesteze. So my defence would be I had a bad chest and took such and such obviously caffiene and aspirin are allowed so wouldnt show up on drugs test, trouble is dosages of Ephedrine will have been large and it is a banned substance. I may be totally wrong but we shall see.....

I did hear he was told he could take the tablet form of the flu remedy, they didn't have that at the chemist so he got the liquid form, thinking it was the same, just what i heard.
Silly boy all the same, should know better!

The weight loss could be down to the fact he did a lot of long distance running last year for charity, coupled with the fact he is no longer living with his wife, not having regular meals etc makes you lose weight too.

As I said we will see, think we will see dosages are far in excess of what is being suggested. The club were not aware of him taking any drugs and thats a fact, you dont just forget something like that, bit like someoneone forgetting to take a drugs test and disappearing for a couple of days.

Yep not with the wife but sure young girlfriend keeps him fed, think he likes a curry or 15 as well. Althletes who run also take perfomance enhancing drugs I believe lol.
