A bit of a surprise but it makes sense whilst we have Clarke and Phillips on loan.

There are not many reserve matches these days so it will give Philliskirk some much-needed time on the pitch.

I was only on about Philliskirk this morning in the barbers, he goes the same place as me (according to the fella in there). I was saying he should get a better chance in the first team, but it looks like he'll have to wait a bit longer now. I suppose if the month goes well he'll come back and be challenging for a start.

Exactly the same idea as us getting the Blackpool players in. When it's used well, the loan system is beneficial - it's just Marcus Bent/Nyron Nosworth/Insert name here of other useless loan signings only after the money types which aren't a good idea.
