No Statto but a few things are bouncing around my memory at the moment.
Wilson, season 1. Got us to the play offs and was a memorable season until the Rapist conviction of a player.
Wilson ,season 2. had to build a virtually new team and brought in a player that was scoring goals (Blackman) and had him sold from under him. Reached the playoffs but always looked like YEOVIL!!!!! would do us.
Wier, Looked good first game then when I saw them at Rotherham you knew it was wrong.
Clough, season 1. Dragged us up from despair to 7th and the FA semi.
Clough season 2. got us to the play offs and the LC semi.
Adkins. Unless we have a miraculous change in form this will be our lowest season of all.
Now I'm sure there will be many other factors to add but my own thoughts are:
the board did not back Wilson in his second season.
The board should have backed Clough in to this season. We certainly would be no worse off and if Clough wanted Billy we'd be better off with a Clough team than this debacle.
Give me a 5-3 loss against a 1-0 at this level. At least I've seen something.

Shouldn't the thread title say our fall guys since 2011 ? although some didn't help themselves they weren't all bad.

There's no chance that Clough would have gone for Billy, nor do I think Billy would have come back to anyone other than Adkins.

Although Clough was on the verge of signing Andy Williams from Swindon (now at Donny) when he got the chop, so we would have had our talisman for the season, it was the boards "backing" that allowed Clough to go spending willy nilly and signing his mediocre mates on long term high wage deals which got us into this mess.

I'm not saying Adkins is blame free though. He knew full well that we needed defenders when he first came here, and that a lot of the players (ie. McEveley et al) were not good enough but still insisted on wasting time in the transfer market by giving everyone a "clean slate".
