Agree but the problem for many years now is that the result is more important than the performance.

So when we go 1-0 up we gradually become more and more negative, hoping to hold the lead instead of trying to go 2-0 up. It's as though the manager is desperate for a win at any cost.

We sit back and defend on the edge of our box, the crowd get nervous which makes the team nervous which makes the crowd more nervous which makes the team more nervous

Then invariably we've tended to concede a lot of late goals....which leads to more negativity in future matches.

Isn't it about time we bucked this trend and that it'd us that score plenty of late goals.
