To a man are absolutely useless and hopeless

Thick as fuck, no strength, no willingness to win.
Campbell and Cannon couldn't hold up a kite.

I dread to think what would have happened this season if Paddy hadn't come to save the day. Doesn't bare thinking about.

This summer can't come soon enough. What an unlikeable squad.

Don't forget Ings, only Bamford should be kept for next season

I think I’m in an increasing minority but I do still believe Campbell can be an asset at this level.

He played in the Selles shambles and has since only had the ‘privilege’ of starting alongside the useless Cannon when he does start. Campbell was decent last year we can’t ignore that.

However in general yes, could sack them all off and start again

Said this a few weeks ago
We would have been in a relegation battle if we had not signed Bamford

A minority of one then

He's been absolutely wank since Hillsborough. His only good performance has been against QPR.

He's a lazy bastard.

I don't know know how many games Cannon can get. Tonight, for a change, he got a pass for work rate but as for goalscoring, utter shite. I would rather have One back and starting every week.
Of the 3 (Cannon, Campbell, Ings) I think Cannon is the only one I'd keep. As you say, he at least it's starting to show he can work. Campbell literally is offering nothing, and Ings basically needs to retire. Next season, Bamford, One starting. Cannon and A N Other as backups.

I said it in Shoutbox ever fan in the stand knows Seriki will put a cross in yet we were yards off intercepting in the middle 2 or 3 times. Those misses first half do us in. Earlier in (Wilders reign) season we were getting that early goal followed by 2 then 3 sometimes then it didnt matter if they got 1 back we still plugged the gaps. Now 1-0 is so fragile a lead.

The cannon works and runs so is good theory is on show again 🙄

Yes he runs and chases down the defenders but he’s absolutely woeful at football, he put a free header wide from 5 yards out, 5 yards!! We need someone who can score effing goals not someone who will ‘put in a shift’ by basically just running about.

If Wilder is wanting a promotion push next season we cannot afford to have Bamford, Campbell and Cannon on the books one of Campbell, Cannon need shifting on this summer and making way for someone of a different forward profile. Once Bamford isn't available we are handicapped in our alternatives

Got to stick with Campbell. Had a great last season but just hasn't found his rhythm this time around. Still think he plays best on the right running the channels.

Campbell's been phoning it in this season

He'll probably wake up again next season when he's playing for his next and probably last big contract

Cannon and Ings..... embarrassing for different reasons. Cannon's effectively a little girl and Ings is possibly the most past it non officially retired 33 year old I've ever seen

Cannon, Campbell, Ings are shocking individually and collectively. Offer absolutely nothing offensively. Have done all season. Have they scored 10 goals between them?

Just said this in the Cannon thread. He is absolute gash. I mean absolutely GASH! I really wanted him to come good after his goal against the pigs but, after a couple of promising games and the odd goal, he's reverted right back to type. He doesn't know how to control a ball, he doesn't know how to head a ball, he has zero positional sense, he's flimsy, he has no pace whatsoever and whenever he gets a chance to shoot, he just swings his leg hard towards the ball hoping to connect and hoping that it somehow finds its way on target. The kindest thing I can find to say about him after tonight is that he wasn't even the worst Blades player on the pitch at the end. Step forward Mr Henry Hoover. Cannon owes you a pint.

There's a player sat on the bench at Lincoln who I would play instead of Cannon 10 times out of 10. One has more football nous in the little toe of his standing leg than Cannon has in his whole body.

I like Wilder. It’s probably not an overly popular comment today.

Despite this stance I’ve never considered him above criticism.

He can be, and has been, a force for good for Sheffield United.

One thing that really troubles me is his inability in recent years to cut his losses and acknowledge a mistake.

Cannon is a good case. He’s been a poor signing. He’s so absolutely desperate to prove people that he didn’t get it wrong and it’s simply mirroring Brewster. He doesn’t add a dynamic to this team at all. This is simply reliving Brewster again.

Rothwell is going to be another. The team is lacking legs and in the last two games his entry has coincided with winning positions being surrendered. Where is Soumaré? The last game he played he did well. He at least has running and athleticism but now Rothwell is here, it feels like his signing will end up trying to be justified.

In his last promotion team, we didn’t have passengers. These two are going to be just that.

Add to this Campbell being out of sorts and by the time you’ve accommodated your favourites we’ll be in a relegation scrap.

Just stop.

Build a team, with a plan and without passengers. Those that don’t fit the plan, get rid of them.

In the 30 minutes before his injury Bamford was like a statue on Saturday.

Showed no movement whatsoever.

Could have had 3rd top goalscorer in the league on a free but some shitty manager who has more pay outs than wins didn't want him. Maddening.

He’s overweight and unfit - that is down to him. Attitude matters so he can go as far as I’m concerned. Ings should retire and as for Cannon…….

I agree with you champs but how do you get rid of players under contract?.
We have one striker good enough for this division and he is injury prone. We have big problems going into next season.
Don't like picking on individuals but just what did Wilder see in cannon!
He doesn't have one strength strkers need ! running about to get a sweat on and contributing nothing.
We will be in trouble next season
Unless the owners support Wilder with a good budget.
It's a good thing we are struggling a bit now our weaknesses which are many are alarming.
Our mantra! "out run out out fight etc" really! We are miles off it!
Not blaming Wilder for all this although he's not done anything to change this.
A review or take stock of what we have and havnt will hopefully have been done,
To even standstill next season will mean we will lose millions ! We all know what happens when you stand still ! You go backwoods and we know what that means..

Let’s get real about this season

Wilder hasn’t given any 2 strikers a real chance to gel

He either reverts to o’hare and Gus on bench then chooses 2 random strikers

Or gus and o’hare with one random striker (bamford if fit)

look a couple of games ago.. brooks and seriki have shown how good they are together so what does he do? Puts brooks on but leaves seriki out

When campbell scores in a game he doesn’t put him on the next

Wilder historically had always said - you have to earn the shirt.. imo he’s lost that mantra

Why hasn't he been recalled (if that's an option) and give him a run in the team till end of season 🤔
