I went on the Birmingham City fans forum recently and his name came up there, although they admitted he would never come because we're doing well, they aren't and of course he's a Blade. I was just thinking he wouldn't have come even if he wasn't a Blade to be honest! Birmingham as a club seem to have gone backwards on and off the pitch.

I remember in the mid-late 90's they were a club really on the up, took big followings away and got a higher average than us for years. But over recent seasons you watch a Blues game and there is just loads of empty blue seats, they seem to struggle to get more than 20,000.

As a measure of how far Birmingham have regressed, with no manager and a long injury list, they only managed to beat the pigs 1-0. :D

Winners are often bad losers. That’s what makes them winners.
It was the constant over the top gamesmanship that rialed him.
Norwich fans and local media here couldn't get enough of his press conference and said he was a bad loser.

They are fucking idiots though so I take their views with a bucket of salt
Show me a good loser and I will show you a loser..

Best thing is Wilder is a brilliant tactician. He studies the opposition and sees how to stop them and then how to beat them.

He's got players in who are committed and who have desire. But also most importantly - listen to instruction. So he works out the tactics and the players follow.

What's also an added bonus is the Owls think that it just passion (he is a passionate Blade, but his pre game talks are probably very calm and specific).

But because they think its just passion, they want a passionate manager too believing all Wednesday need his a shouty bloke winding the players up in a cup smashing team talk.

So whats even better is they will ignore any manager that may actually have the brains to get them up, for a wild blowhard manager that will probably take them down.

I read the original article where Palmer tipped us for the playoffs at the start of the season and of course there was a thread about it on Porktalk almost immediately.

Unsurprisingly their comments mainly included things such as:
"he must be on the sauce again"
"nice bloke but what's he been smoking this time"
"Carlton is a legend but he always did talk shit"
"He is always having a dug at the club these days, this is just another way of doing it"
etc etc etc

I wonder what they think of it now?
