Watching the QPR highlights again I was struck by the fact we played so much one-touch football. I've not seen it as much this season but everyone was trying something. Even when crosses weren't properly hit, because they were played in early they caused problems.

We got stuck at one point in the rut of tippy-tappy football on the flanks. We're so much more dangerous when we take a chance.

I agree with this, one-touch is so difficult to defend against when its coupled with intelligent movement off the ball. I thought our deliveries were on-a-whole better on tuesday night, we've finally learned to drill it on the floor to the rear post to cause a problem for defenders running back

They’re still bubbling under though. Some of us yearn for a little bit of hoof. They live amongst us.

Always be on your guard...
I have to be honest - I wish Jamal had used a bit of hoof on Tuesday, instead of dribbling round the attacker. I'm a great admirer of him, but that was not good for my heart.

Not a fan of one touch football, it might look at times but it breeds inconsistency. Prefer to keep possession until we can have a crack at goal, i don't mind losing the ball after an effort

and then we decide not to play the way that scored two goals against QPR.

Duffy is as vital as Coutts to this team. He's been poor recently but even when he's poor he links it all up. Without him we look lost. Hopefully Holmes and Brooks can have a similar influence.
