I understand what you are saying....but...it sort of makes me Smile! , that if the national media can refer to us as just Sheffield, and people know who they mean...surely, it means there is only one prominent team in the City?...If it upsets you, just think how upset all of those Wednesday fans must be?...

Wednesday fans find it annoying coz they even class sheffield as sheffield fc.

What annoyed me more was when we played Man U with them getting referred to as United and us as Sheffield.

But when Wednesday play they refer to them as Sheffield too, i don't think that it is any mark of respect to us from outsiders.

More a case of ignorance.
