Did Oldham win the propaganda war ?
From the moment that view of their pitch flashed on twitter doubts were put in everyone's minds as to the viability of our style of. Play.it was the main topic of conversation and drip fed down to,the players. We definitely changed our team and style did we maybe fear it a bit.
Happy with a point but somehow I feel we were influenced by the media.
No doubt that was a video nasty (that pitch).

I know they can't help what the weather does, and not all clubs can financially afford to have an amazing pitch throughout the season. But the fact they posted a video of players sliding across the pitch in the week could've only made it worse. Therefore they should be fined!

The pitch was ready and playable by 3pm saturday. It was not the same conditions that we've experienced throughout the season either at home or at other grounds. Cliche: It was the same for both teams

I haven't heard Wilder or the players complaining about it, we changed our game to suit, plus by the looks of it, we got a heads up meaning that Coutts didn't start and Basham moved into midfield

Sounds like they fed us too much info!

I think you're spot on there.
Sheridan looking to level the playing field, as it were.
Still appeh with a point there.
It'll suit Bolton OK but they will find it tough. A centre back pairing of Peter Clarke and Anthony Gerrard is a tough nut to crack.

Oldham have conceded fewer goals than we have and I think there are only 2 or 3 teams that have conceded fewer. ....and they're all in the top 6

Anyone who was on any way happy with our home win vs. Arsenal in the prem season, when we were watering an already muddy pitch at all opportunities, can't be too upset about Oldham.

Besides, it's called a home game for a reason.

Adapt quick or get punished. And we only needed a point anyway.

Captain Redbeard Rum would like us to have a pitch like that....
