It was the moment everyone started singing Greasy Chip Butty that I couldn't hold it in any longer. Oh well. Takes a real man to cry :)
 
Nope i didnt cry i was just pissed off and angry.

Then accepted our fate and had my dinner.

Certainly wasnt going to be one sat in the ground crying my eyes out for half an hour over a game of football.
 
I was close, but i don't think we looked like we would put the ball in the net so i had accepted out fate beforehand.
 
I did - I'm not afraid to admit it. I was GUTTED. We'd fought so hard (well, sort of - us fans had anyway). It just seemed such a let down. Everything for nothing - and we were all in it together. Upset me loads seeing Tom upset, and vice versa. As I walking out of south stand I had tears in my eyes (and was trying, but failing, to hold them in) a woman just patted my shoulder as she was walking past - the supportive tap.

Mrs Warnock was in director's box absolutely sobbing her heart out, worse than any of us. She was feeling for her husband obviously - I'm sure none of us felt worse than any of that team did. I didn't see it, but apparantley Stead threw his shirt into the crowd, then stood there and said "sorry" and Morgan was on pitch absolutely sobbing.

Makes you wonder how Jags is feeling - the guy that gave the pen away - and I'm 100% he just didn't realise what he'd done

Do you actually like football? Cos you never seem to enjoy it when it's good or feel sad when it's bad.

people can say what they want about jags but he is united through and through, he'll be absolutely gutted. ive been thinkin a lot about this today and i really hope he stays, we need to keep as many players as possible and i think he'll be invaluable in the championship, along with the likes of keef and paddy

I do feel upset but i wouldnt sit there crying my eyes out about it. There are far worse things to cry about like death for example.

If i didnt like football why the hell would i be here ? lol

I think Jags is the only one that anyone would be particularly interested in - although i think Kenny needs someone to fight for number one.

He will be gutted, more than the rest of us - as Mr McCabe said "if you cut their legs they'd all bleed red and white"

Mainly because I could tell what was going to happen from the first 10 minutes, same old united.

We always Promise the heaven, but when it comes down to the final wire we rarely deliver. After 2 play off final defeats, 2 relegation's and 2 semi-final defeats I've learnt to expect nothing from this club. God knows how people like SF cope having watched united far longer than I have!

Not having ago at the club I love but its same old same old.

Same old Sheffield United. Nearly Men.

Still, role of next season.

Return to the prem 07-08 starts now. :)

I was just asking why he never seems to show emotion. Then I made a jesting comment about having no life as to the reason he's on here :)

I didn't cry, there was an invetiability about it all and I had vowed not to waste anymore tears on a Football team, after all after 40 years of following the Blades I would be almost permenantly crying.
 
I didn't cry, I was more angry than anything else. And then I went and got pissed.

Very Very close, and to be honest i could still do. The bitterest pill to swallow. Work with a leeds fan and an everton fan. Walked into work this morning to find the whole fucking place plastered in pictures of Jewell celebrating and warnock looking shocked in the background.

FUCKING GUTTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the only thing that makes me smile was my daughter. 7 Years old and only her second blades match, she saw that on sunday. With 5 mins to go she turned to me and said "It doesnt matter if we lose daddy" to which i replied "Yes it does, if we lose we'll be relegated"

And the honest answer of a child could be nothing more than this

"Yes i know, but at least youre still alive"

No tears! Been there, done that and got the T-shirt!

Any Blade that was there when we sunk into Division 4 has sunk as low as it gets. Gives all this a bit of perspective of where we are compared to where we've been!
 
i dint cry i didnt hardly fealt sad i was jus emotionless it was as if someone had torn my heart out and ate it,i feel sick even now.
 
I didn't cry (I know someone who did and was on TV lol) but I was absolutely gutted and shocked (still am) and I stayed for a bit after the game and Bramall Lane was quiet as hell, apart from a few Wigan fans still revelling in their delight of staying up
 
yeah ill put my hands up and idmit i did!

just missed 2 games all season, spending all that money and we were in the driving seat and to throw it away.

dad said he cried when we went into the 4th but learnt to accept it now.
