There is a guest article in The Pinch this morning. Written by John Hird from NUFC Fans Against Sportswashing ahead of their game against us tomorrow. Declaring an interest - I had a very small hand in brokering between John and The Pinch.

(My take) For a variety of reasons, these Newcastle fans are using their game against us to reinvigorate some of their campaigning and are asking United fans for support.

I collected our protest cards from the organisers before kick off.

I'm against ownership of football clubs by nation states
I'm against nation states promoting themselves via football, commonly known as Sportswashing
I'm against the Saudi states appalling human rights record
I would like to see Salma al-Shehab free
