i heard on the radio one Micheal Ricketts was a free agent atm, now i know hes not young and hasnt played much recently but i remember not so long ago him banging goals in and was on the verge of an england call up, might not be a bad pay as you play signing?

any thoughts?

I thought he'd been abducted by aliens - meteoric form at Bolton, disappointment at Middlesbrough and amusing embarassment at Leeds. Since then I'd forgotten he existed.

175 games in 7 years and struggling to keep a regular first team slot at places like Walsall and Tranmere since leaving Bolton probably tells us a story - and with 20 odd goals over the same period he's even less prolific than our current crop.

Not for me. Also has a way with the ladies too - last seen picking up a common assault conviction for head-butting his girlfriend.
