This was said by Strafford on radio Sheff today , what did he mean? ok he got lucky in Boom time with plusnet and seems to be good at cheap publicity but is he destined for a embarrassing fall.

I think what he was basically saying is that nobody in their right mind is prepared to invest in his tin pot has been club when there is a significantly better investment six miles across the city.

I do have a little sympathy for him. He's a fan who thought he could change the world and is now firmly up the shitty creek without a paddle.

Forget that, he's a pig so therefore no sympathy - he deserves it:

:easy:

Does he mean we're not bigger but stronger? Or they are?

It means that once again Chairman Wow hasn't got a clue.

Bigger Harder Fast Stronger, in a Daft Punk stylie? Or Fatter Thicker Shitter Worserer?

And yes, I know there's no such word as worserer, but I bet you Lee Strafford doesn't.

I think he suggested we were the stronger but not the bigger...............ha hah hah ha hah ha

While he was on the radio this morning with Toby Foster he was ecstatic that Wendy has sold 10,000 shirts in the space of two months and this meant they could donate £10,000 to the Sheffield Childrens Hospital. Now I must admit that's a great achievement and for a fine cause you would all agree.......but here's the punchline..

Toby Foster: 'and you can buy the shirts for just £2 Lee
Strapon: £2 Toby

Now I'm a Blade but that is a bargain that is too good to miss....

1. You directly help the Childrens Hospital
2. It's cheaper than a packet of Andrex!

It's cheaper than a packet of Andrex!

and about the same as a packet of Durex! Cos his club's well n truly f****d

i think the bloke has took on an impossible task and the only reason he is still there is because of the amazing level of sycophants urging him on

if he CAN find someone willing to clear the debt ,fund the stadium improvements ,up the transfer budget and improve the playing squad enough to get promotion then he is as great a business man as he thinks he is

unfortunately for him anyone with that sort of money (who is not a lottery winner from parsons x or trying to lose £60-70m in the hope they might get a return if they are promoted and the mythical 40k gates appear ) will steer well clear

on the face of it he seems to have the majority of pigs eating out of his hand but if he cant get investment for 2-3 years does he really believe that ticket initiatives and brentlike business babble will improve their situation ?

ive looked at his figures in" business plan part 1 "of 7
and he promised a rise in football costs to £9m if they met the target of 16500 season tickets and 24700 average

but he has only upped the wage bill to£6.5m and talks of player sales if the average is not met

january should be interesting

tried to think of one tangible thing he has done but apart from the disneyland garble from piggies of "open communication" and "feelgood factors"

cant think of one thing

here is a quote from a pig who was at straffords q &a tonight
im assuming sue is refering to mccabe ,the rest is in my mind absoloute fantasy
if mccabe did say this to say this he needs to stay off the hospitality before the match

knowing the dreamer from parsons x like i do id dare say he had one doughnut too many

The derby. Sue didnt really enjoy the win cos he knows they got battered. He knows they were one dimensional and we outplayed em. None of their top guys could properly celebrate, they were happy, but not as ecstatic as they should have been.

If we sell our areas out we can give them a smaller allocation. We need the money that a 30k+ crowd brings, and it doesnt matter where that cash comes from. Would be nice if our cousins only contributed a small amount to it so lets sell those tickets before the allocation is given, usually 3-4 weeks before.

There were other things covered too but i'm struggling to remember. I'll add to thread as it comes to me, and i'm sure some of the other attendees will too.

Strappon seems to forget he is a chairman. What did he expect McCabe to do ? run round the boardroom waving his superman pants in the air in celebration?
It just shows that McCabe has a touch of class and, after the match is finished, you don't go gloating in the opposition's face(no matter who it is)
At least McCabe now knows how the Spinmeister will react if the pigs win at The sty.

Just imagine if they sell 38,000 home tickets give united 1,500 tickets and United turn up get a 3-1 win and cement automatic promotion?

Carlsberg don't do derbies...

Maybe he is talking about Burnley coming in for one of their strikers now that Martin Paterson is out for 3 months...

The pigs probably could sell 38k tickets if they were free, or next to nowt, every now and again [as could we if we had the capacity ] but the facts are they have not averaged over 30k for over 40 years ,Strafford gets on about products and brands, but you cannot polish a Turd . They are really deep in the s..... and no amount of cheap publicity will pull them out of it.:D
