First of all. Good signing.

However, does anyone wonder if he was signed knowing Walker was going to be called back? Not sure I buy all this 4.10 business. Although, as others have said, he is the property of Spurs so they can call him back if they like. Nosworthy is capable of playing right back, with Morgan Fortune and hopefully soon Seip available to play centre half it makes me wonder if he was signed with covering the right back spot in mind.

I know Len has copped plenty of stick on another thread, but he does make a couple of valid points. Especially regarding attendances. I'd be interested to see how many people rush to renew their season tickets in a couple of months. Myself and many others are swaying towards not renewing due to the awful standard of football we have to endure every other week at the lane.

Maybe 3-5-2 is the answer ?

Bunn
Nyron, Morgs, Kallio
Ward, Willo, Monty, Harper, Yeates
Evans/Camara, Cressy/Hendo

Thats 3-4-2 ..You can't count Monty. Cue responses containing words such as willing, loyal, hardworking, never say die, defensive shield, tough tackling, new contract.

Pity someone like Ellesmere Port don't have an instant recall clause or perhaps they do but don't choose to exercise it:D

I think he was signed primarily as a centre half, and for right back if Walker was injured/recalled.

We needed a centre half desperately with Kilgallon leaving so I don't think the club knew Walker was going to be recalled.

I saw it coming though, as soon as they loaned Hutton and Naughton out it was always on the cards. Me and Dad said at about 4pm that we can see him being recalled in the next few days.

I think people won't rush to renew but I'm sure most of them will when they receive the letter saying they have a week to renew at the lower price. Every year I have doubts about renewing for financial reasons but when I get that letter I realise that If I don't renew Il still end up going every week and end up spending more cash anyway. I know Il be renewing whatever position we're in because I'm a Blade and always will be if we win every game or lose every game no matter how we're playing.

They claim they don't know? So we sign Fortune for the rest of the season, then another centre half and a guy who can play both positions. Doesn't wash this time.

I don't get it. What if they did know, so we then signed Kalio and Nosworthy. So what? If Spurs wanted to recall, they could, whenever they wanted.

It's doubtful we'd have expected them to sign anyone else anyway, so I don't get the point.

Pity we couldn't get Kalio's loan through in time to play tonight though, isn't it?

They really don't do themselves any favours, do they? *swallows a little bit more*

I notice Benjani's loan to Sunderland went through TODAY after the FA accepted that Bruce's fax machine had gone on the blink
