Yes. It’s a well known MO. Bring a new manager in when there’s a winnable run of games to give them the best chance of getting off to a good start and build some momentum.

Chances are they’ll beat Reading and, looking at Derby and Bristol City’s games they could be seven points off by Sunday. If they manage to beat Millwall away (not easy but possible) they’ll be four off. Then they’ll get exited.

I hope the Norwich/Ipswich "derby" mirrors ours at the Lane - Norwich totally dominant (80% possession) and Ipswich camped in the penalty area for 80+ minutes and miraculously keeping a clean sheet.
