But as you say even if we lose we'll still be (at worst) close to top two, which would help me get over it more quickly than if we were, I don't know, lower-midtable...

Remember back in Summer of 2017. Every Pig forum was awash with predictions of a Blades failure. Straight back down into the pub league from La Liga they said.

We’ve done incredibly well and they’ve been incredibly bad. Their downhill spiral on the pitch is a symptom of their off the pitch activity (or lack of it). They’re hurting because all of their predictions have been awfully wrong and United have once again become the best side in Yorkshire out of nowhere.

Don't buy it, do NOT accept it.
With how they act, with how arrogant and deluded they are the pressure is ALWAYS on them.
Will they say "we had injuries" or "we aren't at our best" if we hammer them next week? Absolutely. Will I give them less stick and will it make the victory less enjoyable? Absofuckinglutely not!

Who cares what they say or do? We have had a lifetime of their bragging and their posturing. We are the pub side don't forget, we are the ones that only get by on passion and hard work- we will be down by Christmas etc etc.
