Next: Blades v Carlisle

What do you think about the match?

We have lost the first match.But it will win!
I think 2-0 or 3-0.
 



With 5 days off before we play Preston then I would play the same team as Sunday, possibly with the exception of Brayford (considering the calf injury he had). Either play the new lad or Ben Davies.
The Semi is 4 weeks away and we NEED to beat Carlisle, not lose to Preston and then have a real go at Wolves.
Seven Points from those coupled with a couple of poor (hopefully) results for the Posh and the 3 Wembley trip season will be well and truly on.
obviously one game at a time, so we can't afford to let up against Carlisle.

I don't think they will let up in fact I reckon they will be chomping at the bit to get at Carlisle.
 
Banana skin if we are not carefully. Is there a chance Madine will be playing for them?

One thing is for sure Nigel will tailor the team and tactics for a win and a clean sheet. May rotate a few to ease them back in
 
Can't wait for it..Only a few weeks ago it was a chore watching us. Something good is happening and I'm loving it..and best of all, it doesn't matter how giddy we all get, we have a manager who's got a plan..UTB
 
What about the attendance tonight ?? nice day people buzzing about results and semi got to be looking at 18k+

No yer silly bugger, if you can't you can't. Talking about our sudden boost of "real" blades, my 71 year old neighbour suddenly talking in the sense of "we" and she's never been near a footy match.
 
Porter and Paynter, one each. 2-1. The team's defence has been terrific, somebody has to get a lucky goal or deflection sooner or later....just don't want it in an important point in a match.
 
I watched Walsall vs Crewe last night, Crewe were the best team, scored early in the first half but Walsall got a lucky last minute o.g. - a diving header into the top corner!

Need to make sure we aren't hanging on for the final whistle.
 



Not sure about tonight I just hope the team aren't too complacent, that is going to be difficult to manage for Clough, when confidence is sky high like now players can think they just need to turn up. Confidence is great because players will try things and passes are quicker and zippier but it can lead to over confidence. Hopefully the fact that Peterbrough lost last night will help them grit their teeth and go and get Carlisle. If and I mean If we win both the games in hand starting tonight even I will start to believe we have a chance of the play-offs.
We need the three M's to win. Motivation - Method and Means. Therefore want to win have the right tactics to win and have the right players to win.

Don't forget that there will be people playing for semi final cup places.

I think there will be a few changes tonight and heads will definitely be on
Freeman in for Brayford, expect Murph to be rested again for Davies (Murph on the bench)
Could see Harry taking a bench seat as well.
Paynter in to begin with (obviously not playing for a Wembley berth)
 
I think they'll be changes...maybe Porter/Paynter back, Brayford out, maybe Murphs out also...lad's carrying knocks who put a lot in on Sunday...Kennedy should be back on the bench, if not starting and we might see McGinn start eh!?
Diego must flying after scoring for Italy also.. ;)

I think it could be dangerous to Bench Harry he really needs to get a booking soon to serve his ban so he can be available at Wembley. Weird way of looking at it I know but yellow's are an occupational hazard for a centre half. I would think it would be a pretty much a nailed on loss if we didn't have Harry at Wembley. As it is we only have a chance at best.

Think Diego is playing for the U21s today so almost impossible for him to play tonight I imagine?
 
They only take his cotton wool off in Italy,then he`s firmly wrapped back in it when he gets back to sheffield.

Anything less then a win would be disappointing, no disrespect to Carlisle but it would be a real shame if they stopped our winning streak, but certainly a potential banana skin for us.
I'll go for a 2-1 win tonight.
 
Only a win and a clean sheet is acceptable tonight. Fuck resting players. I want a full first team squad. Get Paynter some game time, and get Baby Diego on the bench. This is our last "easy" game for some time, so we need to take the opportunity to rack up a positive goal difference for the first time since August. 3-0 at least, please.
 
Jose Baxter has just scored. What a run the blades are on.
 
Just got home, and radio has pigs on both channels..

Baxter has scored hasn't he, he was due one from open play and so is harry, and with that, harry for the second..utb

Perfect ten on the I pod ready to play....
