Boxing day starts 3 gAmes that will have a great effect on our season

take 5 points + from these cant see us getting caught

2 DING DONG HOME GAMES AND NEW YEARS DAY IN WEARSIDE
its what football is all about, nail biting tense and hopefully joy

We need to be playing better than we to get anything from those games… we need to win at Cardiff on Saturday and then I’d be happy with 3 draws from those games..

We had this back in the Boro/Leeds double.

Lost both of those, find ourselves 3 points clear.

Whilst important to get positive results - its not a disaster if we lose any of these. We have gained positive results against sides that Leeds and Burnley have failed against. We're a bit flat track bully but we could easily lose to both twice and still gain promotion - as Tarqs states above - we lost to leeds and Boro in a week and are still 3 points clear (5 points better off than anyone without the deduction).

Without doubt the hardest fixture of the season on 1st Jan. Proper twisted psychological drama. Sky Sports have a lot to answer for. 2025 can piss off.

One game at a time. Cardiff up next and that game and only that game should occupy our thoughts. I appreciate it's a forum and I can see how looking at the 3 massive Xmas and new year fixtures is intriguing but if we lose sight of what's immediately in front of us we could come unstuck.

Agree but….. this isn’t a dressing room discussion, its a bunch of fat bastard fans yacking over a beer 😉

Never understood the logic of one game at a time for fans.Management, coaches, players ok but us fans?
How the fuck could we come unstuck ,what's going to happen? another football comment from the past that some fans think sounds sensible , I mean think about it.

Should be a good atmosphere when we play Sheff utd, imagine both sets of fans singing " greasy chip butty!"
Also Brooks & Marsh still wondering why they can't get a game😅

Fair point and you are entitled to express your opinion....it is a forum after all. All I was trying to say was getting ahead of ourselves is the type of fuckwittery that our porcine friends tend to do.

I think we have put ourselves into a position, where we could win none of those games and still be in a very credible automatic hunt.

would sooner be playing the teams up there with us than bottom end teams like plymouth the team and fans are more up for those games than the ones were expected just to turn up to collect the points exciting times at the lane with this takeover and being in with a great shout of a return to the prem our fans can play a big part in getting us there and need to be vocal and loud for the remainder of the season to get us over the line utb ftp ⚔️⚔️⚔️
