Evening all,

I'm new to this forum so thought a quick intro may be appreciated.

Age mid 30's
1st game. Colchester Utd in one of the cups think it finished 3-3.
Fave home game. Forrest play off
Fave away game. Villa this season takes some beating. Didn't go to Leicester. Although Reading away in 94 takes some beating just because our coach on the way back broke down and we ended up on the Team bus.

Welcome young man.
Not been here long myself.:)
Colchester game was FA Cup (1989?). It was 3-3 after a last minute equaliser from them.
I went to the reply, 2-0 (both to Deano)
Same fave home game as me.
Who has been your favourite player during the last 20 odd years?

Was that first game early 1989, Utd v Colchester at the Lane? Colchester bottom of Div 4, us riding high in Div 3. It was a real struggle, Brian Deane netting twice at Layer Rd to win the replay.

The Rusty bit was a bit cryptic. Badcally my view from where I live.

Fave player....there's a few. Alan Kelly probably closely followed by Kozzy.

And that, my friends, is a perfect illustration of the old adage "From the sublime to the ridiculous..."

Surely kozzie has his merits, failing to think of any at the moment, but he did score against Donny, so he will always be a hero, however crap his footballing abilities are.

Don't let my name fool you, I aint a kozzie fan but I did admire his work ethic, I always felt he gave everything, that in itself should and probably does put him on a lot of people favourite lists.

Also, I remember the total flash in the pan skill he created against Jamie carragher in the league cup semi. when he flipped the ball over his head and knocked it past to start in an attack, even though he did then lose the ball with his next touch :/

But welcome rusty, I'm new here myself and already feel like i'm settling in. Its a great forum with good people.

You forgot your shoe size and eye colour ...

Seems my like of Kozzy created some debate. Certainly not the most gifted player I've witnessed but always felt he gave 100%. and that is all I ask from The Blades.

It pretty much some up my thoughts for Wembley, if we go there give it a damn good go show everyone what we're about then I'll come away happyish......obviously we want at least one goal to celebrate. Hull are a very good side, well organised and have a good defensive record in the Premier League.
