I mean, bringing in a backup keeper on the cheap would make sense. Let's face it, if Cooper gets injured and Davies has to play we're in trouble.

What has Davies done wrong on the occasions he's played??

I do hope you're right, actually, as it makes sense if there's a good backup available on the cheap, but it has to be with the view that they'll also be a good backup in the prem

I don't think it's a case of him doing much wrong while he's been here, his recent games he's been good.

But if we can get better backup (if there is someone available) we should probably take that chance, and he's how old now 31/32?, will he really want to play backup GK for the rest of his career, especially as he wasn't even our backup goalkeeper last year.

Who knows, Davies might even want to move on to somewhere where he can get first team football, I think it got said that Wes wanted out last January (after we signed Grbic) but CW convinced him to stay before he finally left last summer.
