have i come away from a demolition of a scoreline content with our performance!

I thought we passed the ball well and movement was great at times. Leon Britton looks outstanding and we kept the ball on the floor for most of the game. We created chance after chance, hit the post twice, had the ball in the net twice and had it cleared of the line too, the ball was just never going in! The team never gave up and to be fair, Scunny probably only had four chances in the 90 minutes.

This leads me on to the negative points tonight. 1. So yes, we limited scunny's chances to four yet they scored four goals. We had many chances and yet scored nothing. This surely means were not doing something quite not right in front of goal. Maybe we need a new striker or maybe just a slight tweek in the formation.

2, Nyron Nosworthy is argubly the worst signing for years. He's been tried at full back and was a disaster. He has been moved to centre back and has again been a disaster. Yes, we have kept two clean sheets in the last two games but i feel that being more down to poor opposition that good defending. Morgan has to (and will) start on saturday.

3. Lack of alternatives. I reiterate, i thought we played quite well today but when we needed some added inspiration we have no options on the bench. Yeates did quite well when he came, but then what? nothing.

We're playing Speed's football eith Blackwell's team. I feel we will be much better post-january when we can play Speed's football with a Speed team. Well, i live in hope....

but keep believing blades fans, tonight was by no stretch a disaster just a freak game. Lets stay behind the team and mae sure we get back to winning ways (especially on the 25th would be nice!)

Content after losing 4-0 at home to Scunthorpe? FFS. The scoreline flattered them - no doubt about that - but defensively we were shocking and our lack of pace & power up front was alarming.

I fear KM expected Speed to make a team out of Blackwells squad, I reckon we'll be treading water for a couple of years until either Speed leaves or we decide to throw enough money at it to mount a challenge.

"content with out performance" not the result. I stand by that we weren't shocking today other than a few individual elements which i posted out previously. I rememeber sitting in the stand a year, actually just a few months ago and saying i wouldnt be too fussed if we lost i just wanted to see us pass the ball. Therefore I would be a hypocrit for slagging off our performance today.
