Much better

We have dropped 3 unnecessary points at home this season. I agree with the OP overall team performance has improved.
I would take 4 points from the next two games, of course 6 would be great.
I feel we are definitely going to improve as the season continues.

  • Replace Robinson with Bash, Davies or anyone in the stands
  • Get Olsen settled, show him our new Ikea
  • Get RND playing his native LB position
  • Get the Russian Olympic Committee to man up Berge with a cocktail of Anabolics & Testosterone
  • Put Robinson, Burke, Verrips & Foderingham in a shipping container and sell them a la Storage Hunters.

Although its incredibly frustrating, we are now missing great chances whereas before we we weren't creating any, last night we missed 3 gilt edged chances, which is more chances than we created in the first 5 games of the season, things will turn as confidence grows, my concern is the defense, only a couple of games ago I thought our defense would be ok with a decent midfield in front of them, but it seems that our midfield is more attacking, I think the manager may address this with the new signing

We have looked much better going forward but as bad as ever at the back. Midtable will be as good as it gets unless we sort out the defence. We need more aerial power and pace too - as we are a nightmare defending crosses or counter attacks.

I was gutted last night but in a good way if that makes sense. Not gutted because we were fucking shit like the last 18 months but that we’d played well and with a daft mistake thrown 2 points away. I’ve really enjoyed the last two games. Great football, quicker, crisp passing, good movement. Slav is making his mark on the team and it’s great. I can only see good things happening from now on.

Despite the annoying ending and it being a bit of a let down after Saturday I still quite enjoyed the game last night.

We pass much much quicker (I have been banging on about slow predicable passing for a long time now) and much more positively (i.e. forwards) than we have for ages. Teams that don’t defend as well as Preston did won’t be able to cope with that.

Also, MGW looks like a absolutely fantastic player - and an exceptional athlete - he never stops running!

The less said about Robinson the better though. Let’s just say that we will be a LOT better when Davies is fit again!

I think we will end up having a good season. The signs are good.

This team is starting to remind me of the Danny Wilson team regards style of play and talent.

We have the best squad in the league and when we click the signs are there that we are probably the best team in the league.

We’ve had a bad start but there’s such a long way to go. At some stage we need to go on an impressive run.

Absolutely. Still think we’re going to be weak at the back all season no matter who plays. We don’t have a physical presence there with out JOC.

We are moving in the right direction and turning the overwhelming amount of possession into proper chances. Before the international break teams could let us have the ball knowing we were going to do nothing with it.

Can't keep chucking goals into our own net every game though. There is an evident lack of discipline across the whole team when we are defending or trying to see the game out.

We need the defending qualities of Wilder's team mixed with Slavs new attacking flair.

If he starts him Saturday, slav will be throwing Robinson to the wolves.....

You know there's a costly mistake in him every game..
