Did anyone hear the interview on talksport ?. Only caught the last 30 seconds just wondered what he said.

Id wager there are a few on this forum who could write their own follow up, suitably entitled the 'Theory of thinking they are right - all the time'.

Unfortunately for them, there would be more holes in their theories than in Wednesday's defence next season when Fleck & Coutts start on em.

Only asked if anybody had heard it all. Tony Cascarino was singing his praises and saying what a fantastic job he had done.
Cascarino sings wilders praises at any given opportunity and brings his name up continually when a top level job comes up referencing his work at Oxford us and Northampton
Think I might listen back to it myself in a bit when my missus stops tidying around me

Give my regards to Jehovah.

You're a brave man, I've always felt the best bet when women are doing their Saturday morning cleaning is to get out of the house!

Good little interview, no relevations, chris being his personable self that the Carlos over in South Barnsley could take some pointers from! Chris is a really top bloke.

Just as the marketing department at the Lane are about to launch an initiative to attract new students to next season's matches the Sheffield Star run a front page headline following Chris Wilder's appearance on Talk Sport...

WILDER SAYS 'STUDENTS DO MY HEAD IN'

Chris Wilder has been put on 'gardening leave' and we understand the club are in talks with Nigel Adkins who could well be making an emotional return to the club.

Referenced Bournemouth and Eddie Howe on how they have risen to the top. Harry Arter and Simon Francis were mentioned having gone through the leagues with them.

Says he hopes he can use the Walker and Maguire money but won't put the future of the club at risk.

Says there are still many players affordable lower down the leagues that can step up and do the job of the championship.

Named Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and Derby as 3 standout teams but said the entire division is strong.

Correct Answer.

And what would you put on your Crab (as it were...)

Ironically, given my username, I don't like Crab and am not a fan of Seafood generally. Strictly a fish & chips guy. But if I was to choose, instinct tells me that non brewed would also be the way to go with Crab, or maybe a squeeze of Lemon.

Bit disappointed with that interview sounded a bit warnockesque with the old Yorkshire tightfistedness shining through

Agree - and the tightfistedness has been clear in our transfer dealings so far. We were told significant investment would happen when we got in the Championship - and we now have an extra £7m from the Walker and Maguire signings - but we still come across as tinpot compared to most at this level.

The fact is we need more quality to compete - and generally speaking quality costs more than we seem willing to pay.
