According to the Times online, our new signings must be immortal -
Sheffield United Ahmed Fathi and Luton Shelton have received international clearance. Fathi, the Egypt midfield player, signed for £700,000 from Ismaily and Shelton, the Jamaica striker, cost £1.85 million from Helsingborg. Both signed 3K-year contracts.

Really? 3K-year contracts? Three thousand year contracts? Blimey. No wonder Keef is pissed off with only a year's contract. And why are we signing these players? Is Fathi some kind of T'Egyptian god, or has he been mummified?
Still, plenty of time for them to improve. They'll probably be regulars in the side in five hundred years or so.
