interested to know how much money people think we will spend in the summer roughly

It's difficult to assess because we never know what wages someone is being paid.
People usually judge expenditure as transfer fee paid but these days wages can be massive.

For example if we buy 3 players all on free transfers and give them almost £15K a week on a 3 year contract then we've spent over 7 million quid.

Personally can't see us spending too much over the Summer because Wilder is loyal and will want to give this seasons players a chance to impress in the Championship.

I reckon it could be the JTW and next Summer were we do our best buys because Wilder will know exactly what's needed.

Do you just mean transfer fees? If so then I reckon it will be lower than most expect as I think Wilder will raid the free transfer market first, and why not? Loads of bargains to be had.
We will still need to splash out on a couple though so I reckon around 2m.

yeah maybe should have specified just pure transfer fees spent on players

Well, considering who we appear to be signing I'd say not as much as any of us hoped.

Was going for 4 million but after our astute manoeuvring in the transfer market today I've gone for 3.5 million :)

Don't think we'll spend massive, be stupid too, you can't underestimate what a squad who is united (excuse the pun) behind the manager and united together, ask Leicester fans, they didn't have the best players by a long way.

If we sign three players on a three year contract on £15000 a week we pay them over THREE years

So we don't spend £7 million on them as soon as we sign them
