Got my ticket last night and opted for the mobile ticket option.
The confirmation email said ticket was on a pdf attachment. However there is no attachment but there is a QR code on the email.
Are there QR code scanners at the turnstiles?

Yes, just need to put your phone in the slot with the QR on screen.

Might be worth checking your security settings, as my email has pdfs attached. Think it said they can’t be printed though, as the turnstiles can’t read pdfs - which makes you wonder why they send them out in the first place!

If I need to scan a QR code from an email for any reason I tend to screen shot it and then it's in my photo gallery rather than wading through emails trying to find it, or looking for a downloaded document on my phone.

Also, scroll riiiiiiight to end of email as on mobile PDF’s usually attach at very end of email, not like desktop emails where they attach at the top.

At the risk of teaching grandma how to suck eggs....Make sure the phone screen is facing upwards when you put it in the reader slot.

Tap the QR code, it turns into the PDF. It’s nothing much different to the email you got.

I scanned a QR code off a discarded packet of cheese & onion crisps and it didn't work. Think I'll try salt & vinegar next time.

Sorry but where is the Reader slot? I usually just tap my ST on the whatever its called. Never noticed a slot that a phone would go in. Any chance of a photo to explain please. Thanks for any help.
