I don't think that's a fair comment at all mate. He joined in the 2019/2020 season when we finished 9th in the prem with easily the best midfield in my lifetime. Let's not rewrite history after last season's shitshow.

Pay as you play deal for him could be an option. I don't feel he ever did much wrong for us but he is a walking red card at times.

Started coming to the lane in 1997. Unless I am missing something, finishing 9th far surpasses any other season in the last 25ish years.

They performed well that season but in terms of ability they were always massively over performing and in reality were always a champ level midfield.

I enjoyed every moment of the journey and the great moments but at that level they unfortunately aren’t good enough. If we want to get back there, which we should, then we need to aim for better in my opinion. Mo Besic i don’t think ticks that box. He is an average sub player not someone who’s going to improve the 11 and provide the creativity and composure that we crave in the middle.

I wasn’t at Bannock burn but Scott’s seem to hate my heritage.
