It has been a few games now since Miller scored after his explosive start, anyone that goes regularly explain why? He seemed to do the same at Crewe so has he just been unlucky, drop off of his work rate or is it lack of service?
Merry Christmas Blades as we sit at the top of the league :-)

The last couple of games the service to him has been pretty poor tbh, but yesterday I did think he needed to do a bit more if he's to stay in the team. If we assume that we will add another to the squad that can play out wide (admittedly quite an assumption) then Blackman will likely be pushing to be moved back up front - and he does have the ability to create stuff himself when presented with the ball 40/50 yards out.

For me, he's still the best finisher in the box that we've got at the minute, and should remain in the team for the time-being. Having fought so hard to get into the team, it would be a great shame for him to ease up a bit.

Miller is a finisher - just about the only striker we have of the type. If we're not threatening the opposition 6 yard box or getting in behind defences, he might be a bit of a passenger.

But we absolutely mustn't drop him. The two home games coming up - hopefully with Blackman, Flynn and McDonald in the midfield - are his chance to bag.

It'll also be interesting to see him link with Kitson.

JD's post bang on... goals for both (although Miller had gone off by the time Kitson scored)!

Great finish today.
Shows what quality he has. If he can get cosistancy we'd struggle to keep him if not promoted.
